71: drabble

just some drabble from this au i thought about :)

"Tommy?" Wilbur calls from his room.

"Yeah?" He responds.

"Tommy, can you come into my room quickly?"

He rolls off his bed, and walks across the hallway. He opens the door, and leans against the doorframe. "What," He complains.

"Can you turn my light on? It's too dark," Wilbur grins.

"Piss off," He frowns, leaving, but still turning the light on.

"You know, I do reckon those boys are playing hard to get," Becky says wistfully.

The 2 other girls share a look.

"Becks, hate to break it to you, but I really don't think they are," The girl with shoulder length brown hair says.

"Yes, they are, don't be ridiculous Meghan," She says, rolling her eyes.

Meghan and the other share a look.

"Sure Becky, sure," The redhead grimaces.

"Now, do you reckon I should wear my new green dress tomorrow? Doesn't Dream love green?" Becky continues, in her own bubble.

Techno flips the page of the book he is reading, scanning it intently. He mutters something under his breath, and goes back a page, confused. He frowns.

"Oh! That was him, not him!" Techno mumbles, pointing at the illustrations. The school librarian had recommended this graphic novel series to him, saying it was "a refreshing change of pace" to what he usually reads, and "a light hearted series that discusses deeper topics."

So he thought, why not? and took the entire series. It's only 4 books, and he'll probably get through them fast. And also, another book by the author had caught his eye; a story about a girl finding out she was aro-ace in an environment where everyone expects her to be in a relationship. Fitting, huh?

Anyway, it seemed like a good read.

Niki sighed, stroking her new cat. Her parents had gotten it for her, as a "sorry we're getting divorced, have a cat," present. At least this cat didn't have massive arguments every waking hour. 

It probably won't be long until her dad moves out. Maybe then her mum might stop screaming, and actually start processing things better.

It's all just a bit of a mess.

"Catch," Dream says, chucking a packet of Sour Patch Kids at his sister.

"Oh, nice! Why did you get me these?" She asks, opening them.

No answer.

"What do you need me to keep quiet about?" Drista smirks, getting up to pester him.

"Promise you won't tell?"

"Hmm, might need a few more favours, but sure," She shrugs.

"I'm having a party on the weekend,"

"With who? And it won't be like that one at Jessica's the other week right? Apparently someone there had like drugs or something,"

Dream pauses. Jessica? Who's  Jessica?

"Becky's party,"

"Oh! Yeah, yeah, didn't go. She's so creepy, it's almost sad," He frowns. "But no, just a few friends. And you better be quiet about it, it's when Mom and Dad are going out with those friends they never see, if you snitch I'll be in so much shit,"

"Fine, fine. But you're getting me more stuff,"

"Do I have to?"

"Yes? Or I'll tell,"

1. younger siblings doing whatever their older sibling says, regardless of how little they get along (based off smth my freinds did)
2. becky. die. i kind of feel sorry for her though, she's sad.
3. heartstopper. i just felt like it. im so so so excited for the adaptation, it comes out so soon.
4. no clue, based off the last chapter before that weird break
5. party that i might not even write but if i do ties into the next thing

right so i kind of want to add in the knf kiss?? i keep hearing about it and it would be so good for angst but i feel bad for dream, quackity and sapnap. idk i want to but i also dont want to have to write them having to fix all those relationships afterwards. i dont knowwwwww
