3RD PERSON, FOLLOWING TUBBO.

Tubbo looks down at his shoulder once more. "It's platonic," He reminds himself as he starts to get ready.

When he arrives in school, he starts to panic. How is he meant to confront Ranboo if Tommy's there. He loves Tommy, but Tubbo knows how attached he can get.

"Hi, um, Ranboo, can I talk to you for a minute? Alone," He clarifies. He sees Tommy become immediately suspicious, and starts to regret it.

"Yeah, sure Tubbo," Ranboo says. "What's up?"

"Um, do you remember, uh, when we first met, we bumped into each other? Literally,"

"Yes. Where's this going Tubbo?"

"Um, by any chance do you have a mark down the side of that arm? It could just be a coincidence," Tubbo starts to ramble.

He rolls his sleeve up. "Like this?"

Tubbo's jaw drops.

"Yes? I mean-" He cuts himself off to show Ranboo the mark down his arm.

Ranboo gives him a half smile. "I knew you were smart,"

Tubbo laughs, and the two of them head back to Tommy who looks extremely pissed off.

"What you guys doing that took so fucking long? And made you start laughing?"

"Uh,"

"I'll explain later Tommy, come on," Tubbo covers up, and he drags them both into the school, Tommy still trying to find out more.

TOMMY POV:

I look sideways at Tubbo. Ranboo had just headed his way, and now it was just us.

"Tubbo?" I ask, my voice my softer than usual.

"Yeah? Hey,"

"What were you and Ranboo doing?"

He laughs uncomfortably. "Um, well, you know my mark? And how it was platonic? Um, well, I started to put little pieces together and it, kinda, sorta-"

"Ended up being him?" I finish for him.

"Yeah," He nods. We fall silent. I'm not gonna lie, that hurt. Some part of me, deep down didn't want him to find his soulmate. Some part of me wanted him to be my friend.

"Well done," I say, breaking the silence. He accepts it with a nod, and I bite the insides of my cheek.

"Right, well, this is my place," He says, stopping.

"Yeah. Uh, see you tomorrow,"

The next day, the class has little gaps in it in every seating plan. Throughout the week, more and more people drop off, sick.

"Well! Morning to the few of you who remain. As you can see, a bug is going around, again, so hygiene is more important than ever," Our teacher says.

I raise an eyebrow. Both my brothers are sick, as well as my best friend, but yes, sure, let's talk about hygeine.
