KARL POV:
"What the honk, it's too hot for November," I say, taking off my sweater.
"Yup. Never had a heatwave in November," Dream agrees.
"That's global warming for ya," George huffs.
"Sap, take your jacket off, you're literally melting," Dream says.
"I'm- I'm good," He replies, pulling his jacket tighter.
"Alright," Dream answers, confused.
"Guys- you do realise: it's a Saturday. We are in a park, in direct sunlight. We are under no obligations to stay out here. We can go back to someones house, or into the woods," Quackity says slowly.
"Oh," I say, realising he's right.
"Wowie, Quackity knowing a big word?" Dream mocks.
"Piss off,"
"Gladly," Dream says, getting up. "I don't know about you lot, but if I don't need to stay here, I'm not,"
"Yeah, fair point," We all agree.
"You could come back to mine? My mom's wouldn't mind, and I'm the nearest to the park?" I offer.
"Cool, I'll let my mom know," George says, pulling out his phone. "She likes to know where I am now, because of what happened last time she didn't,"
"Cool, I won't let my mom know," Sapnap jokes.
At that moment, his phone starts ringing.
"Speak of the devil," He frowns. "Hey mom,"
We all fall silent, waiting.
"Out. The park? Some friends. Becky? Oh, hell no. She's the one who wouldn't leave Dream alone. Someone embarrassed her enough infront of her friends. Yeah, like a rebound. Seriously?"
He rolls his eyes.
"Mother of mine. Let me spell it out for you. Let. Me. Be. I have my friends, who, may I point out- you have had no problem with till September? Oh, yeah of course," He mocks. "How could I forget. Oh no, every second I spend with them, they brainwash me. Oh, woe. Grow up," He snaps, ending the call.
"Why was she talking about Becky?" George laughs.
"Uh, somehow she found out about the "crush" and thought it would be lovely if I took her out sometime. Then she started lecturing me about you lot, except George, because your years of insisting your heterosexuality has convinced her you are the only acceptable one out of you guys, and then she just pissed me off,"
"I'm so flattered your wonderful mother thinks I am acceptable," George snarks.
"Mm,"
"Ok- my mom just asked if we wanted to go back to mine, so I reckon we should get going," I point out, checking my phone.
"Oh, yeah," Quackity says, as all of us start to get up and walk out the park.

SAPNAP POV:
I drop onto Karl's bed, stretching out.
"It's hot," I complain, staring at the ceiling.
"Take your jacket off," George says.
I shake my head. No way.
"You're contradicting yourself,"
I know I am.
"You guys want drinks? I'll go get some, as well as food," Karl says, standing by his door.
"Can I have water?" George asks. We all ask for various drinks and snacks, and Karl nods.
"It's nearly winter break," Quackity remarks randomly.
"Oh shit, yeah," George says. "The month went fast,"
I sit up slightly, and look hin dead in the eye.
"You were in a coma for about half of it," I deadpan.
"Oh yeah," He says sheepishly.
"We should do something for New Year or Christmas," Dream suggests.
"I'm free for both, anything but spending it with my homophobic family," I reply.
"I'm down for New Year," George says.
"I can do New Years too," Quackity says.
At this point, Karl comes back, arms full of stuff.
"Karl, you free to do something for Christmas or New Year?" Dream asks.
"Uhh, New Years?" He says uncertainly.
"Alright, so we can all do New Years then. I'll check with some other people, and yeah," He trails off.
"God, Christmas is gonna be fun," I groan.
Everyone winces. Fun family bonding, "Shit on Sapnap's friends, choices, and life"
Can't wait.
GEORGE POV:
I slump back against the wall. Too hot.
"You good there George?" Quackity laughs.
"Not really. I'm gonna die," I whine.
"Too hot for little Georgie?" Dream mocks.
"Fuck you," I groan, fed up with the heat.
"Sure, when?"
Karl chokes on his water, and I stare at Dream.
"I'd say that's unexpected, but knowing Dream, it's not," Sapnap smirks.
I roll my eyes. He's got a point.
