We Belong

Quarrel

Here we are with the second to last chapter of the story. Originally it was going to be longer but since I work for a living and have to maintain a house, I don't always have time to work on this project. Rather than delay it longer, I decided to post this before writing one last chapter for this this work of mine.

Last time, Finn and Millie headed to their trailer after speaking with Matt and Millie has her suspicions that her father has hired people to watch her activities on set. Matt confronts a worker behaving in an odd manner and vows to begin an investigation of his own to see who's been leaking filming information.

Finn and Millie retire to their trailer and Finn sings and plays for Millie, causing the girl to break down and cry as she feels the depth of the boy's devotion and love for her and they hold each other until the girl falls asleep. Finn's anger toward her father, grows and his leeriness of the boy named Joseph. He worries over Millie and what her father will make her do.

The next day they read more of the story of Beren and Luthien before Caleb, Noah, and Sadie show up. Caleb talks to Finn about his healing scars and Finn reveals some of his fears while Sadie and Millie discuss what Millie needs to do. Millie reveals how terrified she is of losing Finn.

Later, Finn pops in to the hair and makeup trailer to discuss something that Millie is curious about but he doesn't give her any real answer.

The day after, it's Millie's birthday and a big celebration is set in a place called The Blackstone Emporium, full of magicians and entertainers. Millie has to deal with an annoying Joseph and a pushy father but does the best she can.

Surprise fills her when she senses Finn and her eyes search for him when a voice speaks to her. She lifts her gaze, finding a gorgeous blond haired and bearded man looking down at her. Even though he's unrecognizable, Millie knows it's Finn and she follows him out once everyone's distracted.

Spying him going behind a curtain, Millie follows and the boy reveals a set of promise rings with different inscriptions then whispers elvish words in her ear that turn her on in ways she never thought possible and they have sex behind a stage before going their separate ways.

Upon returning to the party, Joseph notices the afterglow in her features and correctly guesses that she's just had sex, though he's not sure with who and a plan begins to form in his mind on how to use that information to his advantage.

And now we begin the chapter!

March 25, 2021 Finn and Millie's Trailer

Finn sat on the couch as he waited for Millie to finish her morning routine, doing the best to quell the growing restlessness he felt. The last scene of the season for Finn and Millie revolved around the fight scene to rescue El.

Due to the demanding physical nature of such a scene, the Duffers had left it for last. Given the risk of injury, Finn understood why. After all, while his bones had healed, the teen still felt pain off and on and it showed in his delayed reactions to a sequence of events. Still, aches and pains wouldn't stop him from doing what needed to be done.

"Finn?"

He shifted his gaze upward, finding Millie moving towards him and his features softened, a smile lighting his face as he studied her. "Good morning, sweet. Rest well?"
