Here we are with another update. Still no Fillie. It will come, I promise. After episode 6 is complete. That might be how I do things for the rest of the ST chapter parts of the story. Complete an episode then give you a full chapter of Fillie afterwards.
You are now about to get answers as to who the creatures are that Hopper has interacted with, though questions will still remain.
No warnings this time. Expect them though for the Fillie chapter coming up as Millie gets a case of... er... well... let's just say seeing Finn holding a baby does something to her.
Anyway, on to the story!
I have spoke with the tongue of angels
I have held the hand of a devil
It was warm in the night
I was cold as a stone
But I still haven't found
What I'm looking for

December 19, 1987 Upside Down
"My name is Jim Hopper. If there is anyone listening, I need you to contact Sam Owens and tell him Antique Chariot is alive and in need of extraction..."
A loud series of knocks suddenly erupted, Hopper's voice going silent as he snapped his gaze over to the front door.
He waited for a second to make sure he wasn't hearing things, about to speak once more when the knocking sounded out once more.
What the hell?
Lowering the hand held microphone onto the counter, Hopper lifted the gun still slung on his shoulder and moved silently to the front door. Bracing himself, he reached out and turned the knob, flinging to door open, revealing the taller form of Dradak standing before him.
Instantly, Hopper lowered the weapon, studying the boy in surprise. "Kid? What are you doing here?" And how the hell did you grow so fast?
"Hello, Jim Hopper," Dradak greeted in a slightly accented voice. "You are well?"
The chief blinked then stared at the boy in shock. "How... How did you learn to speak English?"
Dradak tilted his head. "Zurgesh taught me," he answered. "Still learning. Pardon if I say things incorrect," the boy paused as if trying to figure out the words to say before speaking once more. "Zurgesh sent me to ask if you would come visit. He is ready to talk, if you are ready to speak."
"Your leader wants to speak with me?"
The boy nodded. "Yes. If you are willing. He knows you have questions. He will answer if you come."
Hopper looked back over to the CB radio.
Had his voice been heard on the other side? How would he have anyway of knowing when the people in the other realm could not answer him?
I got my message out. If someone in the cabin heard me, that's the best I can hope for now.
Turning his attention back to Dradak, Hopper nodded. "Take me to him then but let's make sure we don't run into anything lethal on the way there, okay?"
"We will take the travel portal so we don't have to fight any monsters."
"Travel portal?" Hopper murmured. "Is that the thing we went through the last time?"
"Yes," Dradak answered, turning away from the human as he lifted his hand, a shimmering pool of color materializing beyond the porch.
Hopper stepped outside, closing the door behind him. "You created the portal? How?"
