Here we are with another update!

In part one of episode seven we found out that Soviet Special Forces (Vympel) and their psionic comrades have infiltrated Hawkins to engage in recon and monitor Mike, El, their friends, Joyce and Murray and anyone else they deem a possible threat (yes, this includes Steve and Robin, which we'll get to in this chapter as there are more soviets than what I've introduced.)

We caught up with Max, Lucas, and Dustin.

Murray brings new information for Joyce and she identifies Reaper as El's teacher and brainstorms as to who he truly is and what he's doing, that he might have the ability to resurrect himself. Murray suspects that Magnusson is just an alias, like his Geological Survey name and is most likely a green or former green beret working for the CIA. Joyce reasons that the teacher is the biggest lead she has to find Samantha and she's willing to risk her life to find out the truth.

The Soviet captain, Andrey Gromeko, is informed of this information from his recon scout and is angered, believing he should have been told by spies within the CIA about such a dangerous man, especially if he is shadowing their target's girlfriend. Though caught unaware, Gromeko vows to eliminate him. But if what the Americanskiy is saying is true, that might be impossible to do.

Lastly we ended with Reaper going for a run during a mild snowstorm, finding the cold invigorating. Shots are fired and he drops to the ground then crawls to investigate, finding two hunters have shot a deer. The men leave the doe and head off, killing the animal for nothing. Reaper feels heavy at the loss of life and uses his resurrection ability to bring the deer back to life. He heads back to base with a smile on his face, knowing that for once he did something that brought life where death had taken it.

And now we begin part two of episode 7!

December 20, 1987 Mrs. Sharpe's House

Steve and Robin stood side by side in front of the white metal door to ranch style brick house, Nancy standing a short distance behind them.

Daylight was rapidly fading, the snow dancing around the trio, coming down in heavier bursts now as the sky was choked out with gray.

Despite their clothing, it was getting a bit chilly and the male cop took the initiative, reaching out with his gloved hand to press the doorbell.

A soft chime twittered beyond the door and a few seconds later the door opened, revealing a short, elderly lady dressed in blue polyester slacks and a white knitted sweater. Long silver hair was tied back into a pony tail while lagoon green irises studied the trio quizzically.

"Mrs. Sharpe?" Steve asked softly.

"Yes?" the teacher replied, looking up at Steve with worried eyes. "Am I in trouble officer?"

"Uh, no ma'am," Steve reassured. "We're here to talk to you about the Blanchleys."

Understanding lit up the old woman's lined face. "Ah, yes. You must be the young man who called me earlier." She paused, pulling the door wider as she stepped to the side. "Do please come in."

The three young adults entered then waited in the foyer, watching as the old lady shut the door then turned to face them.

"This way, please."
