Da Morte Para a Vida Part One

Here we are again with another update!

Last time, in episode 6 part one of my version of Stranger Things season 4, Hopper conversed with Zurgesh and his mate, Khaznera, and learned about the Gith and their origins. He also discovered that the Gith are the mortal enemies and hunters of the Mindflayer.

This particular Ghaik is only one of many, hell bent on conquering other planes, realms, and realities to create slaves for it to subjugate and feed off the native population. Khaznera believes some higher power or the realm Hopper comes from is preventing the Mindflayer from opening a portal to enter his world.

Meanwhile in the Right Side Up, Mike and El return home (after discovering Hopper is alive) and Nancy gives Mike protection for when he and El are ready to take that final step. After story time with Holly, Mike and El converse with Nancy and Mike deciphers the topographical map, hypothesizing that the red lines are more like gateways than fault lines.

The Hell Fire Club invades Hawkins and sets up shop in one of their secret hideouts in the woods outside of the town. Samantha realizes that Reaper is from Special Forces (Green Berets) and wonders just what all he did in Vietnam. Reaper then heads down to the bunker where he studies the various maps of the town and surroundings, with the topographical map in the center.

Part 2 involved Nancy and Robin discussing Steve with Robin denying anything but platonic feelings for her partner which Nancy doesn't believe for a second. Steve arrives with lunch and the three discuss their plans to track down and talk to the relatives of the Durand and Blanchley families.

Mike figures out a way to contact and interact with Hopper using a blackboard, while the Chief answers via the CB radio. Mike is shocked to learn that Gith actually exist and Hopper tells them not to tell anyone just yet that he's alive or where he's currently located.

Joyce meets up with Murray at her house and he promises to delve deeper and see if he can get some scuttlebutt on any Department of Interior activities or other government projects.

Mike agrees with Hopper that the planet could be protecting itself by creating more people with abilities like El to defend from psionic and supernatural attack.

Reaper has a discussion with Inferno about what is to come and the naivete of the teenager's view.

Mike takes a nap while El continues to talk to Hopper before she ends it and returns to Mike's side. Very naughty things (but no consummation) occur and the two clean up then head for home. Once on the road, they are followed but by whom?

December 20, 1987 Maple Rd

The dark blue AMC Eagle Sx4 slowed slightly as they watched the white jeep pull into the drive of the Wheeler home. Two sets of eyes hidden beyond the tinted glass observed the teenage subjects exit the vehicle and enter the house.

The car continued down Maple Rd, working its way back onto Cherry then onto Larrabbee, heading north out of Hawkins and onto a dirt road some 10 miles later. The liftback cruised slowly through the thickened growth of pine that stretched upward towards the gray clouded sky. Snow began to fall in heavier bursts, making visibility difficult and the wiper blades became active, scraping off the tufts of snow sticking to the glass.
