Another update to this story of mine. Picking right up where the last left off. And a small mix of the show within the chapter as well. Expect more of this, especially when I get to my version of season 4. Onto the story!
Come tomorrow, one day closer to your heart

"Well hello to you too, little sister," Charlie said dryly, his curious gaze drifting between Finn and Millie. "You two practicing for a scene or something?"
Dread filled Finn at the sight of Millie's older sibling. Logically, the teen knew Charlie wasn't his father but the larger male looked enough like him that Finn's legs grew restless, instinct screaming to flee. But I can't leave Millie alone. I won't. Still the question bothered him and he had to give something that wouldn't get either of them into trouble. "Something like that."
Millie heard the tension in Finn's voice and frowned. Why was he so nervous around her brother?
If Charlie noticed the younger male's anxiety, he gave no indication of it, directing his voice over to Finn. "Listen, mate, mind if you give us a few minutes to catch up?"
Finn stared over at Millie who flashed him an apologetic look before returning his attention back to the older male. "Uh... sure thing. I'll just wait outside."
The teen exited the trailer, leaving the two siblings alone.
Charlie scoped out the trailer in wide, slow arcs, letting out an appreciative whistle. "Fancy place you got here. Only the biggest and best for their star."
"I'm not the only star here," Millie replied in a cool tone, eyeing her brother warily. "You hate being on set, Charlie, so I'll ask again, why are you here?"
The older sibling plopped down onto the couch and shrugged, lifting his arms to lay on the back rest. "Can't a brother come and visit his sister to see how she's doing?"
Her eyes narrowed. "That's why you're here? Just to visit? Why don't I believe you?"
Charlie brought his left hand to rest over his heart, his expression affronted. "You wound me, Millie."
She wasn't buying it. "Cut the crap, Charlie. You are my brother and I love you but if you don't tell me what the hell it is you want I will call security to have you escorted out."
He frowned. "Why are you so uptight? Are you miffed I interrupted your snogging session with stork boy?"
Millie bridled at the rude remark. Her ex had used that nickname for Finn, along with frog face, whenever she had talked fondly about her co-star and it never ceased to piss her off.
Her eyes blazed murderously to match the heat in her voice. "You think it's funny do you? Calling him names? We'll see how funny it is when security drags you off property."
She reached into her pocket and pulled out her phone, making to call when her brother rose up suddenly and waved his hands.
"I'm sorry, alright. Just... Just put the phone down, Jesus..."
She lowered her phone, voice and features expectant. "Well?"
Charlie sighed and dropped back down onto the couch, grumbling, "Dear ol' dad wanted me to check up on you, so here I am. Okay? Happy now?"
