Here we are with another chapter.  Some Maya and Finn interaction that will help establish their friendship and what happens later on (season 3 premiere anyone?)

You don't want to hurt me
But see how deep the bullet lies
Unaware I'm tearing you asunder
Ooh, there is thunder in our hearts

Is there so much hate for the ones we love?
Tell me, we both matter, don't we?
You, it's you and me
It's you and me, won't be unhappy

Millie walked with Noah down the makeshift buffet line, shaking her head as she watched her friend heap piles of scrambled eggs and hash browns onto his plate. "You're not going to be able to eat all of that."

Noah grinned, using tongs to grab a bunch of bacon strips on his already full tray. "You just watch!"

She rolled her eyes, placing cups of fruit and yogurt onto her tray beside a small plate of poached eggs and a sliced bagel with cream cheese. Millie looked around, finding Caleb and Sadie together and her brow furrowed. Where was Finn?

She walked over as they waved to her, leaving Noah to peruse the rest of the buffet line and she laid her tray on top of the green linen table, settling down opposite of them. "Hey, guys."

"Hey, Mills." Sadie greeted as Caleb nodded, his eyebrow quirking as Noah shuffled over then sat his overflowing tray onto the table before plopping down to the left of Millie.

Caleb shook his head. "Dude, there's no way in hell you're going to be able to eat all that."

Noah smirked. "Wanna bet?"

The older boy matched his smirk. "50 bucks says you can't."

Noah held out his hand. "Deal!"

Caleb took the proffered hand and shook it, watching in fascination as the smaller boy began to dig in with relish.

Millie made a face while Sadie's nose scrunched up at the display.

"Gross," the redhead murmured.

Millie nodded, concurring with her female friend.

"So, where's Finn?" Sadie asked, drawing the younger girl's attention.

"I was about to ask you guys the same thing."

Sadie tilted her head. "You mean you haven't seen him today?"

"Yes, earlier," Millie answered, casting a gaze over to Noah. "But someone had to be a jerk and cause a bit of a problem."

Sadie and Caleb both looked over to their brown haired friend.

"Noah, you didn't...." Sadie said with a frown.

Millie snapped her gaze away from Noah over to the redhead. "You knew about this?"

Sadie and Caleb shared a look while Noah made an emphatic throat slitting gesture at them which Millie caught out of the corner of her eye and Noah attempted to hide by tugging at the collar of his shirt.

"Well... We may have talked briefly about what happened last night," Sadie confessed then added quickly, "But neither Caleb or I put him up to anything, I swear." She looked over at Noah. "Just what did you do?"

"I wanted to see if Finn would get jealous," Noah answered. "And he did."

Millie's nostrils flared. "I'm not going to talk about this anymore. Finn and I are friends and only friends." She shot a look over at Noah who squirmed in his seat. "And that's final."
