Here we are with another update.

No warnings for this chapter.

We're spending time with Finn as he heads to the Cemp-an training facility outside of Pemberton B.C. (the town is real, the facility isn't.)

Cemp-an is an Upper St'át'imc dialect word from the Lillooet Tribe that lives in the same area as the facility. It means to work on something until it is completed (it took me hours to research this fact.)

Some interaction between Finn and Millie via text and phone. Expect more of the same in the next chapter. I know some may find this boring but it's necessary. I don't do short cuts when writing. In order for Finn to get where I need him to be in the story, he has to go through this stuff first.

Mr. Heikkinen (my character) is Finnish and in Finnish there is no "th" sound or letter combination. So for authenticity without getting too crazy "this" becomes "tis" and "the" becomes "tee" also brother becomes "broter" "that" becomes "tat", "then" becomes "ten", so words with the combo of "th" in them will be misspelled on purpose to allow for an accent. Try to say the words out loud and you'll hear it. Anyway, most other words he uses will be spelled correctly in English.

In this chapter you will begin to get a picture of just where I'm going to go in Season 4. And Yes, there will be a season 5 as well. If anyone wants to guess specifics, have at it. I love reader interaction after all.

Anyway, onto the chapter!

Oh, let the sun beat down upon my face
Stars fill my dream
I'm a traveler of both time and space
To be where I have been
Sit with elders of the gentle race
This world has seldom seen
They talk of days for which they sit and wait
All will be revealed

Finn looked out the window as the black Toyota Highlander cruised down highway 99, passing through Squamish at a steady clip, heading north towards Whistler, British Columbia.

Whistler was famous for world class skiing and co hosting the 2010 Winter Olympics. His final destination, however, lay a bit beyond, to a property near the smaller town of Pemberton and the Garibaldi Provincial Park.

His eyes watched idly as snowflakes lashed against the glass, his thoughts far from the cold and rugged terrain that now lined both sides of the highway, to a place of warmth and love... to his Millie.

The boy had asked her to leave a voice mail for him on his phone, wanting to carry an auditory piece of her, so that whenever his heart, body, or mind became lost, he could find his way home again.

He kept his gaze locked to the pine trees that whizzed by in his vision, reaching up to make sure his ear buds were secure before hitting play once more.

"Hey, Finnie! I hope this finds you doing well. It will be hard not to talk to you like we normally do but I promise to be there to listen to you no matter what. So don't be afraid to tell me whatever is on your mind. And if the training gets to be too much, just know that I'm there with you! I love you and believe in you!

You are more than what you think you are. So much more... I know you can find it within you, Finnie. And when you do... you'll see what I see... a beautiful, wonderful, brave, and gentle boy who deserves the world! Just please be careful. I don't want you hurt. Love you, baby, and I'll talk to you soon! Bye, Finnie Bee!"

Warmth flooded his chest. It didn't matter how many times he listened to the message, the joy and love Finn felt for Millie never faded. It only grew stronger.
