Jeongin and chan lay in the youngers bed after the boy had calmed down. It was easy to say that jeongin had cried for a good hour thinking he had been betrayed by one of his best friends.
They lay there in complete silence, the air that would usually be filled with sounds of conversation or love were still and silent.
Jeongin wondered why chan wasn't really speaking at the moment so he decided to just ask rather than wonder.
"Are you okay?" He asked as he moved his head to look up at the boy.
"Yeah, why wouldn't I be?" Chan moved his hand down to jeongins waist that curved slightly benesth his touch.
"You're just quiet,"
Chan looked away for a moment and then back at jeongin.
"I'm really okay, don't worry"
If the younger really knew what was on his mind it would break his heart.
"Are you sure...?" Jeongin sat up on his hands and knees and straddled chans lap while pretending to be a lion and wrinkling his nose like he was growling.
Chan laughed and placed his hands on his thighs.
"Yes I'm sure, baby"
A small smile came to jeongins lips as he just laid down on the older. He snuggled his face into his neck like he normally did and sighed in content.
"You should talk to me if you're sad, hyung.. It's not good to hold in your feelings,"
"I know.. But this time I just have to figure it out myself" His hands moved to cup jeongins ass, squeezing ever since slightly making him yelp a bit and blush madly.
"Stop~" The boy whined and moved his body only to be followed by the hands he really didn't want to stop.
Chan moved his hands up jeongins body and to the nape of his neck which sent shivers down his spine.
"Kiss?" He made a kissy face at the other in hopes for one.
Without hesitating jeongin leaned down and pressed a firm kiss on chans lips that was immediately deepened by the other tongue.
Jeongin wondered what escalated this kiss so quickly but he didn't question it because he did want it. He would always want chans kisses because they were so good and sweet. It almost made it impossible to not kiss him every moment of the day.
In an instant jeongin was moving his kisses down chans neck, his lips working little wet spots onto the skin. As jeongin made his way to the blondes collar bones he was pushed away and Chan sat up as the younger fell back off of him.
"What's wrong?"
"Nothing, I'm just not in the mood at the moment," The older tried to stand but jeongin was quick to grab his hand and pull him back onto the bed.
"But I am.. Please hyung?"
"Sorry, I just don't want to right now. I have work soon anyways so I have to get ready,"
In some sort of way jeongins heart fell at those words. Maybe it was the way that Chan initiated it and backed out or the way that he was just so suddenly turned off by jeongin in a matter of seconds.
The brunette wasn't mad that he wasn't getting what he wanted he was hurt by the fact that in some way or another it felt as if they were beginning to drift apart. He understood that they were busy but they were a couple who never truly saw each other anymore.
"So you're just going to leave then?" Jeongin asked with a twinge of hurt in his voice.
"Yeah have to go get ready," Chan turned back to him and pressed a form kiss to jeongins lips to which the boy didn't even respond to.
He sat there and waited for chan to pull back before turning and grabbing his phone and completely ignoring the older.
"Why are you going now, don't you have to work at five? It's only three."
An inkling of suspicion spread through jeongins stomach making him search his mind for a reason Chan would leave two hours early. It would only take him ten minutes to get ready and thirty minutes to drive there.
"They asked me to come in early,"
Jeongin didn't say anything more as he just scrolled through his phone while he waited for the other to leave. He was upset and really had ever right to be since nothing added up.
"What so now you're just going to ignore me?"
Jeongin turned around on the bed and looked at the other.
"What do you want me to say huh? Have a good day at work and see you tonight, but probably not because you had to stay late!?"
"What the hell your problem, jeongin? Why is it such a big deal that I'm working and have to stay late?"
He stayed quiet instead of fighting.
"Have a good day at work," He said softly and moved his attention to his phone once again.
"Yeah, sure" Chan grabbed his things and left the room slamming the bedroom door after him. Jeongin flinched upon the loud sound which also caused tears to flood his eyes.
Priorities seemed to be different on chans side of the relationship than on jeongins. It was painful for the both of them and showed in the way that Chan didn't even honk twice before pulling out of the driveway and in the way jeongin pushed his tears away from his cheeks when they fell. In the ways that he cried alone in his room while Chan drive back to his house pissed off.
They hadn't even really fought yet it was like they had just broken up. It was like there was several words left unsaid. It was horrible and neither boy knew what to do. Neither knew why it hurt the way it did when all they wanted to do was love each other.
But they went on like normal, Chan making it to work safely and jeongin still laying on his bed wishing they'd just be okay again.
Even if they were okay, it still felt as if there was perhaps a small crack beginning to form in both of their hearts.

So I cracked the screen on the tablet I normally write chapters on so I'm using an old one until my new one comes in the mail. So I'm sorry if there's more spelling errors than usual or if the chapters seem different.
Hope you all are doing okay ☺
