The rest of the week went by fast, Jeongin and Chan happier than ever now that conflict was taken care of, Hyunjin and Changbin the same as ever, Minho and Jisung doing what they do.

It was the last day of Jeongin being home before he had to leave again and it broke everyone's hearts.

Especially Chan since he didn't know when the next time he would be able to see Jeongin was.

They all sat in the living room together just watching movies.

They were watching The Meg and it had Jeongin and Jisung absolutely screaming whenever the giant shark would swim at the boat.

"Yall shut up!" Changbin screamed back jokingly to which Jisung chucked a pillow at his face

"I'm gonna make a giant ass shark swim after you and eat you for breakfast!" Jisung yelled back

Changbin sat up with his hair all crazy from the pillow hitting him and glared at Jisung

"A shark could never catch me, bitch." He said and threw the pillow back and accidentally hit Minho who sat up with a sharp glare in his eyes

"You fucking-"

"All of you shut the fuck up!" Hyunjin groaned to which the pillow then hit him in the face

"I will actually murder you." Hyunjin said and scoffed "how dare you hit this beautiful face."

"Beautiful where you mole rat!" Minho called back.

Chan stood and patted his pockets and Jeongin looked up at him with soft eyes now that his warmth and protection from the scary shark was gone.

"Wanna come?" Chan asked before Jeongin even had a chance to speak.

"Sure," he replied and stood.

The two left the screaming match in the living room where everyone was throwing the pillow at everyone and screaming insults. Just before the door was closed behind them they heard Changbin being called short and it sent them into laughter.

Chan moved over to one of the back patio chairs and sat down, patting his lap afterwards. Jeongin happily moved over and plopped himself sideways on the others lap and wrapped his arms around his waist as he leaned on his shoulder. Chan sat with his legs slightly spread and slouched down in the chair as he took a hit off his mango flavored vape.

"It's cold~" Jeongin whined and snuggled into the warmth of Chans chest.

"Here," Chan said and sat up a little as he shimmied out of jacket and placed it over Jeongins shoulders like a blanket.

"Thank you," Jeongin said and felt the remaining body heat from Chan warm him so well. It smelled like him too.. the musky and odd scent of the other had always been comforting to Jeongin. It wasn't that Chan was dirty, he just smelled like a guy and Jeongin loved it.

"That movie is terrifying can I just say?" Jeongin said and shook his head "that shark is like a million of me. Probably more!"

"Probably.." Chan said as he blew out a hit off of his vape over Jeongins head "but it's a good thing he doesn't exist right?"

"Right," Jeongin agreed and looked around at jisungs backyard.

He had so many memories back there.. swinging on the rusty swing set and sliding down the plastic slide in the corner of the yard. They used to have competitions to see who could slide the fastest and swing the highest. Even in the cold winter months they'd be out there. Summer months were the best though. They'd always have mud fights and play with their little hot wheels in the dirt. Jeongin would be in trouble when he went home so dirty but it had all been worth it with the memories he'd made with Jisung.

Jeongin looked up at Chan with a smile as he took another hit from his vape. There were soft snowflakes collecting in his dark hair and he thought it made the other look so pretty. Chan was grungy.. but Jeongin always found beauty in that.

Chan thought the same thing about Jeongin as he looked back down at him. He was so stupidly preppy but so beautiful. Jeongin had something Chan couldn't place about him that just drew him in. That made him speechless beyond words. Jeongins beauty could truly never be described in words, Chan thought. You would most definitely have to see him through his eyes to be able to fully understand what he meant.

"Do you know what they say about the first snow?" Jeongin asked softly as he watched a snowflake land in Chans eyebrow and melt slowly due to his warmth.

"What?" Chan asked, eyes still gazing over the pretty face in front of him.

"They say that the person you're with in the first snow is your true love," Jeongin said softly and Chan only smiled a little

"Do you think I'm your true love?" Chan asked softly and gently brushed Jeongins bangs from his eyes

"Of course I do," Jeongin shrugged "there's nobody else I'd want to be my true love,"

Chan hummed softly and took one last hit of his vape before setting it on the table beside him as he pulled Jeongin closer to him.

"Me either.." Chan said and then spoke again, so quietly and softly that Jeongin wouldn't be able to hear it if it wasn't for how quiet it was around them.

"Be my boyfriend then."

The statement was simple. Though it made Jeongins heart pound in his ears and heat flood his cheeks.

In all honesty he never felt like Chan would ever ask that question. Simply because any time they'd ever brought it up neither of them were ready for commitment. Now, Jeongin was ready and so was Chan.

So ready to be together and do it all right this time. To disregard everything from the past and just be with each other through everything life threw their way.

"Okay," Jeongin said with a small nod and smiled the widest he had in so long.

"Okay," Chan said and smiled back at Jeongin before engulfing him in the biggest hug he could have given the younger.

They were actually together now.

Officially.

And nothing could ever make either boy more happy than what they were in that moment. That moment where everything had fallen so perfectly into place. That moment where every piece of the puzzle fit together so perfectly. Where stars aligned and fireworks went off and cheers were heard.

It was that fairytale moment that Jeongin wanted so much for the both of them.
