Jeongin made his way up the stairs to jisungs house, feeling the familiarity of the slightly cracked concrete beneath his shoes.

Jisungs family was well off but preferred to live in less fancy housing, contrary to his own parents. They loved the little broken charms of their house like the cracked stairs leading to their front door or the old brown carpeting of their living room. They liked it to be like that, not liking fancy since they were so laid back.

The blue haired boy invited himself inside the house, not knocking since this was the equivalent to a second home and walked into the kitchen where jisung turned from his conversation with Minho.

"..don't you dare say anything," he poked minhos chest with a threatening look in his eyes then turned to jeongin with a smile immediately coming to his face

"Hey, you're early!" He said as he walked up to the boy and grabbed his bag, setting it on the table.

"Yeah, I hope I didn't interrupt anything.." He said cautiously as he jumped up on the counter.

"Nope, we were just talking"

The room was filled with an awkward type silence that lasted until the door opened and closed, in walking hyunjin with a bag of clothing and a few grocery bags

"Why are you all just standing here acting like we don't hangout every single day?" He asked as he tossed his bag on the ground and jumped up on the counter beside jeongin with a bag of Doritos chips.

"You want some?" Hyunjin almost immediately disregarded his question and rested the band holding the chips on jeongins leg

"Sure! Thanks hyung," jeongin reached into the freshly opened bag and grabbed a cheesy chip, taking a small bite.

"Mhm," the blonde responded, keeping his hand on jeongins leg in case he wanted more "when is chan coming?"

"He gets off at five so probably five thirty,"

Hyunjin looked up at the clock that was across the kitchen. It would only be about twenty minutes before change showed up.

"He works too much," hyunjin observed as he shoved more chips in his mouth.

"Yeah but he's trying to get enough money for a cheaper apartment. He's also trying to pay my parents back the bail money,"

Just then, the door flung open and changbin fell through, kicking it closed as he lay there three seconds away from hyperventilating.

Everyone moved from their places to see the boy standing up and fixing his clothes, preparing to walk in like nothing had happened.

"Uh.. Hyung, are you okay?" Jisung asked.

The brunette looked up from his feet and smiled a bit

"Yeah, yeah I'm great!" He said quickly "why?"

Jisung stepped forwards with a questioning look and Minho did as well.

"Fine!" He caved as they came closer "theres a frog on your porch,"

"Really?" Hyunjin jumped in excitement and moved towards the door, opening it to reveal a small frog sitting on the steps.

Hyunjin slowly went and picked it up without startling it and turned with it in his hands, bringing it closer to his friends who looked as if they'd seen a ghost.

"Guys it's just a frog don't be so scared," hyunjin peaked down and looked at the dopey eyes of the animal, smiling a bit with a small giggle.

"I'm not scared," Minho said with an eye roll.

Hyunjin gave him a look before stepping forward and to Minho.

"Oh my god, get it away!" He yelled and took several steps back.

That's when hyunjin got an idea and began chasing everyone with the poor thing. The moment he stepped forward, it sent his friends running to all different parts of the house. Changbin almost in tears as he bolted up the stairs.

Jeongin hid under the table, genuinely so afraid. He'd never liked frogs, turtles or lizards. When he was little, jisung caught a lizard for him and let him hold it. Everything was fine until it bolted up jeongins shirt sleeve. Since then he'd been scared of any animal of the sort.

The chasing lasted for a total of five minutes until jisung began throwing things at him.

"Hyunjin I swear to God I'll draw dicks all over your face when you go to sleep tonight!" He screamed as he threw a giant teddy bear at him, making the taller trip and the frog falling and hopping away somewhere to escape them.

Hyunjin was crying out s laughter, tears escaping his eyes as all the boys cake flooding into the room to see what happened.

"Where's the frog?" Changbin whispered to jeongin who shrugged.

"Why was the front door.. Open..?" Chan came up behind the three boys, all turning back to see the black haired boy looking confused at all the commotion.

"Hyunjin chased us with a frog!" Jeongin turned to the other who wrapped his arms around the boy, having missed him the whole day.

"Really?"

"Yeah, a big fat one too.. I almost cried!"

Chan chuckled at how adorable the other was when cute, placing a kiss on his forehead.

The frog began croaking and everyone went silent, making the ones who were scared of it bolt, jeongin grabbing the bottom of Chan's shirt and putting his head inside to hide.

"It's just a frog, baby" the black haired boy said as he rubbed jeongins head through his shirt.

"A big fat one!" Jeongin reiterated.

Slowly, he came out of the over sized shirt once the croaking had stopped and moved down the stairs while holding Chan's hand to rejoin everyone else.

The croaking sounded through the hallway as jeongin booked it, almost pulling Chan down the stairs behind him.

Once they were down the stairs, they moved into the kitchen where everyone was once again eating chips and talking.

".. You better get that frog out of my house, hyunjin." Jisung scolded jokingly "Minho you're helping him"

"What? Fuck that!" He looked at the other like he was crazy.

Jisung sighed and looked at jeongin who shrugged, saying he couldn't help him either.
