The boys had spent hours catching up.
Spending so much time talking and laughing together as they made stupid jokes about stories and such.
Things had calmed down quickly though and minho looked around as everyone had small conversations. Jeongin was talking to hyunjin about his relationship with changbin who was sitting next to him and would chime in every now and again to add small details to the conversation. Chan was sitting on his phone, occasionally glancing up at jeongin. He hadn't said much in the time that jeongin had got there. He was too busy wondering if the other would even want to talk to him.
Minho cleared his throat as he looked over at jisung. "Should we get it out?" He asked and a grin spread across his face.
"Hell yes we should," he said and clapped once as he stood up.
The clap drew everyone away from what they were doing and jisung smiled as he got everyone's attention. He was quiet for a moment as everyone looked at him, hyunjin growing impatient as he always did.
"What's with the creepy smile?" He asked and made a disgusted face at jisung.
"Everyone join us in the kitchen, we have a surprise," jisung said and left it at that before grabbing minhos hand and dragging him up off the couch and began walking to the kitchen.
The other boys got up and followed, jeongin falling in step behind Chan who was behind changbin and hyunjin.
Minho and jisung rummaged through the cupboards as they began grabbing short glasses and minho grabbing two big bottles of clear and amber liquid. Jeongin was curious no doubting but he had a bad feeling about what this was.
Once they were in the kitchen, they all stood at the island and looked at the two boys who set everything up. Changbin and hyunjin shook each other with excitement. Though hyunjin proffered to get high, he would take free alcohol any day of the week.
"What is all this?" Jeongin asked as he leaned across the counter.
"Alcohol~," jisung said in a weird accent and slid a glass towards minho who opened the clear liquid and began pouring shots for all of them.
"What?" Jeongin asked, a bit of panic in his voice.
"The finest liquor~" jisung said and looked up at his friend "I know you haven't done it before but you can if you want to. If not you don't have to,"
"Well- this is like illegal, hyung," the youngest said with a furrowed brow as he was so worried that the police were gonna bust down the door and raid them of all the illegal substances and take them to jail.
"Nobody is gonna know, innie," hyunjin said and slung his arm over jeongin "it's only us here and every body here is trustworthy,"
Trustworthy. Well, most of them. Jeongin didn't trust Chan anymore. He never ever would again and if the moment ever arose he would absolutely shut it down.
"Right.." he said softly and nodded as minho slid a glass in front of him.
What did he truly have to lose? He asked himself. Jisung was here and so were all his other friends so he thought he would be okay. Jisung wouldn't do anything to harm him, he knew that. It was just a little scary to be drinking.
"You really don't have to," jisung reminded him again just to be sure he knew that they weren't pressuring him. Everyone had shots now, Chan picking his up off the table and holding the small glass in his hand.
Jeongin took a deep breath and picked up the glass and smelled the liquid.
It felt so odd in his hand. The only other time he had ever touched alcohol was in chans apartment when he asked him what his beer was. He had never tried it or ever had the chance to.
