Celestial|| Yuno x reader [Black Clover] [Hiatus]

31: not an option

Y/n flew after Noelle who was being pursued by her elder brother. She kept the crystal secure with Cancri's Iron Shield and tried to formulate a plan to help her teammate. Yuno was clearly trying to take control and do things with just the two of them. But the celestial mage wanted to win as a joint unit. Not just him and her doing all the work. Noelle had her strengths too!

"All you can do is defend yourself? You're hopeless Noelle!" Solid taunted.

"What are you doing?" Solid's teammate, Dmitri shouted at the brash royal. "This plan to have us both lunge straight into their crystal at the same time is far too reckless!"

"Be quiet! Don't give me orders!"

The flame mage sighed. "I guess I have no choice but to-"

Y/n quickly caught up to Noelle who was trying to defend herself from Solid's relentless attacks. She drew her arm back in a bow and arrow motion.  A shimmering bow settled on her arm with a sharp arrow that glistened. She closed one eye to aim better "Celestial Magic: Archer's snipe!"

The arrow of light pierced Dmitri, barely nicking his shoulder. He hissed in pain, momentarily stunned. "What the-" The curly haired male saw Y/n drawing another arrow.

"I won't miss again," she said. Dmitri clicked his tongue and annoyance and spun around to face her.

"Flame magic: combo eruption!"

Balls of flames fired towards the h/c haired girl. Y/n merely smirked. "This is nothing compared to Captain Fuegoleon and Lady Mereoleona's magic!"  All the hell Mereoleona put her through. All the aid and training Fuegoleon gave her. It was what strengthened her skills and helped her get to where she was now.

"Zodiacal Reinforcement: Sagittarius! Archer's missile!"

Y/n's bow illuminated. It slowly morphed from a simple hunter's bow to a recurve style archery bow.  She exhaled before releasing the arrow. The arrow soared through the air, separating into several little beams of light. They destroyed Dmitri's attack and hit him full force. He didn't even have a chance to react and was left on the ground defeated.

"Sorry, but I wish to win," Y/n said as the bow disappeared. She left Dmitri behind and went to assist Noelle who was facing off with her brother.

"Too bad for you Noelle," Solid said. "On top of having to chase me down, even if the most unlikely situation should occur, there's no way for you to destroy our crystal." His magic swirled around him taking the shape of serpentine creatures. "A pathetic weakling like yourself could never even begin to imagine to defeat me!"

Noelle stood her ground feeling as the razor sharp water nick and tear her skin. "You are right," she said. "I was weak. Someone who was strong to begin with wouldn't understand the feelings of someone weak."

Ever since she had joined the Black Bulls, compared to the harsh treatment she got from her siblings, Noelle had been constantly acknowledged for the strengths she didn't realize she had. From Captian Yami, Captian Fuegoleon, Asta as much as she hated to admit it. Even Y/n stuck up for her despite them not being on the same squad.

"I'm through needing to be acknowledge by you," Noelle declared. She held up her wand. A fierce look displayed in her eyes. "Because I've already been acknowledged by far more amazing people. Long ago, Solid onii-sama, I used to be afraid of your magic. But now it feels so flimsy and lackluster..."

In anger, Solid's magic flared up. A raging serpent of water swirled around him. "HOW DARE YOU! YOU DISGRACE TO THE FAMILY!" He yelled.
