Christmas OVA 1

The Wizard King planned a large Christmas party for all the magic knight squads to attend. It ended up being kinda chaotic though, with all 9 squads present.

Y/n had arrived early with Nala and Yuno to help set up decorations. Nala ended up not being much help, because her and her older brother, Nox, started arguing over little stuff.

"No dumbass! We're using the red ornaments!" Nala snapped.

"Hell no!" Nox shouted. "The gold ones will compliment the green better."

"Christmas colors are red and green!"

"Gold is more fabulous!"

"Not as fabulous as me shoving my foot up your ass!" Nala kicked the male in the stomach hard, sending him crashing into the table Mimosa and Noelle were trying to set up.

Yuno and Y/n paled, watching the fight unfold. Neither wanted to get involved. The Arenuma's younger brother, Nico, shrunk down from embarrassment. He was less rowdy compared to the other two. Almost like how Yuno and Asta were.

"How are you all related?" Yuno asked.

"Don't ask," Nico whined. "I'm convinced I'm adopted every day." Y/n pat the boy's head of burgundy curls out of pity.

The trio managed to finish decorating the tree, using an assortment of green, red, and gold ornaments. Yuno lifted Y/n on to his shoulder so she could put the star on top. A smile spread across her face as Nico turned on the tree lights.

Back in Hage, they did celebrate Christmas, but it wasn't as big of a spectacle as it was in the Capital. Mainly because they weren't wealthy enough to afford lavish gifts and decorations.

Matter of fact, Yuno, Y/n and Asta didn't even know they were supposed to exchange gifts when they first came to the Capital. Ever since their first Christmas there, Y/n always made an effort to send gifts back to the church, such as toys and clothes for the kids or money.

Typically, Christmas at the church mainly consisted of a large dinner of differently styled tatoes. If it snowed, the kids would go out and build snowmen and have snowball fights, which usually ended up becoming a competitive match between Asta and Yuno.

"What do we have to do next?" Y/n asked after Yuno set her down.

With the help of Klaus, Nico managed to break apart his quarreling siblings. The two were the separated and sent to help different groups. Nala had to help Noelle and Mimosa reset the tables and Nox had to go outside and help some of the guys from the Black Bulls put up decorations.

Yuno and Y/n got stuck in the kitchen helping Charmy and Vanessa bake cookies, both whom were terrible people to have unattended in the kitchen. Vanessa was passed out drunk on the floor. Charmy was snoozing, surrounded by empty bowls of batter.

"Why do we always have to clean up other people's shit?" Y/n sighed. She picked up an apron and tossed it to Yuno. "Well, lets get baking."

"You know how to make cookies?" Yuno questioned. They never had such delicacies back in Hage.

"Believe it or not, as wild as she is, Nala knows how to bake killer chocolate chip cookies. Plus, it's just following a recipe. How hard can it be?"

They tried to make spritz cookies.

Keyword, tried.

Neither of them really had any experience with proper kitchenware, so they created a giant mess. Flour went everywhere because Yuno decided it was easier to use his wind magic instead of the mixer. Y/n burned the first batch of cookies black with a fire spell, since she couldn't figure out how to set the oven. The smoke clouds triggered the sprinkler system.
