20 minutes later, the base came into view. It was a large, mansion like structure not far from the Capital. Fuegoleon landed first. Nala jumped off her broom while still about ten feet off the ground. Not wanting to be shown up, Leo did the same, nearly landing on his foot wrong in the process.
"I guess not all cats land on their feet. Hm," Nala teased. Leo's face turned red in anger.
"Do you wanna go?" His fire magic swirled around his hands. Nala smirked and opened her grimoire; it was burgundy in color with a two leaf clover. The captain placed a hand between the two separating them.
"If you're going to fight, take it to the training grounds," Fuegoleon said before crossing his arms. "But first, a tour of the base."
After a quick tour showing the newbies where the main commodities were, Fuegoleon left to take care of some paperwork. Leo left too after giving one last glare to Nala who flipped him off.
Y/n looked around her room. It was quite large. Well, anything was big compared to back home in Hage. She and all the kids would pile together and sleep on the floor sharing blankets in pillows. A number of times Y/n woke up in pain with a foot in her side, someone on top of her, or securely wrapped in Yuno's arms.
Sitting on the bare bed, Hoshi flew out of Y/n's shirt and stretched. "Your chest is nice and warm," he commented making an irk mark appear on Y/n's face.
"Stop using my boobs as a pillow!" Hoshi stuck out his tongue immaturely.
There was a knock on the wall beside her. Y/n and Hoshi shared a look of confusion. The knocks grew harder and several cracks appeared on the wall before it finally was destroyed. On the other side, Nala waved. Her grimoire floated beside her. Y/n and Hoshi paled in shock.
"Hey! You want to be roommates?" The girl with dreadlocks asked.
"I don't think you gave me a choice," Y/n said with a sweatdropped.
A few hours later, after clearing the rubble, moving around belongings, and decorating, Y/n and Nala's room was finally finished.

"Hey, Nala, why did you want to room with me?" Y/n asked.
Nala sat up from her infinite pile of pillows. There was a thoughtful look on her face before she smiled.
"I told ya already didn't I? There's hardly any females in this squad. We need to stick together!"
"What the hell...?" The two girls looked up at the doorway on Y/n's side to see Leo, dumbstruck with disbelief. "What the hell? What happened to the wall!" The orange haired royal exclaimed.
"I broke it so Y/n and I could be roommates," Nala answered honestly.
"You can't do that! My brother worked hard on this base. You can't destroy it as you please!"
