8 : Ice Cream

After hanging out and chatting a bit when the movie ended, Renjun excused himself and I "I'm sorry guys, but the classmates need to catch up so we'll be on the balcony" I was a bit confused but then it came back to me, he needed to tell me about what happened back then in school when he went MIA. 

We went to the balcony and sat there, I was really curious to know what happened because it was really sudden, I remember when he first arrived to our school I didn't know much about him, only that he was the chinese student, the next year he was in my class so we had multiple projects together and that's how we got closer, and that's when he told me about the bullying he's been victim of the past year because he was the new chinese boy, even though he tried not to mention it and hiding it from me, when he would talk about it I was there for him.

"I'll get straight to the point because I can feel your impatience" he said giggling "well do you remember the day my parents came to school and mom pulled me out of the class" "yeah I remember distinctively because it was the last day I saw ever saw you" he looked down feeling a bit guilty, so I held his hand and squeezed to to let him know I'm not blaming it on him so he continued "well the night before mom learned I was being bullied and let me tell you she wasn't happy about it, she would always ask me and I would lie so she was really furious and just like that decided that I'm not allowed to have contact with anyone from this school"

wow that was a bit shocking "why did you lie to her though?" "well the first year I lied thinking that my next year would be normal, I didn't want her to move me right away..." something was still no clicking so I asked "but Renjun, even though you didn't mention it a lot I knew that it continued even the second year why didn't you say anything back then?" "well first of all I really liked the school, second of all I finally had a friend that really cared about me and stayed with me" I was really moved so I didn't know what to say except " I don't care whatever happens, you'll always have me Renjun" and threw my arms around his neck, he hugged me back whispering "I know, thank you"

We stayed a bit like this, then went in, few minutes I got a call from Taeil "hey y/n-shii" "Hi taeil appa" I said giggling "get ready, I'm almost here, and tell Mark or Haechan to come with you to take their stuff from the car" "okayy, see you!" I said and ended the call, then I told Mark that Taeil is on his way, so he called Haechan to come and grab his stuff with us. I said goodbye to the boys giving each a hug and left.

By the time we went down Taeil had arrived, so the boys took their stuff and I left with Taeil, in the car the only thing I can say is that all the neighborhoods we passed by possibly heard our singing.

When we arrived I noticed that half of the guys went to sleep, or were going to, they must be tired, so I decided to also shower quick and go to sleep. But I should know from past experience that me sleeping early when I'm not tired or sleepy ends up with me waking up during the night.

And it's exactly what happened, I woke up, checked the clock, it was 2 in the morning (I'M THE MAFIA, MAMAMAMAFIA ~itzy, in the morning, anyways back to the story) I was thirsty so took my bottle but it was empty, I wasn't that tired so I went to the kitchen to drink. Before I got there I heard noise from there so my dumbass though that there's an intruder in the house so I grabbed a black tree-like furry lamp that was in the hallway

and went in, I was ready to hit someone but the only thing I found is a startled Jungwoo, he really scared me so I was a bit mad (at my dumb self lol) "What are you doing here? I almost killed you!" he looked at me as if I was plain stupid (which I probably am) "with a black furry lamp, y/n?". At the realization we both burst out laughing trying to not to make noise. 

I sat beside him "but really, what are you doing here? and at this hour?" "I woke up and couldn't go back sleep so I decided to wonder around maybe get some water, but I remembered there's Ice cream so I said why not" he said pointing at the ice cream box with his spoon, "can I have some?" "of course" he replied, using the same spoon to feed me, we weren't really fully awake to realize, and to remember that there's a drawer full of spoons.

We were chatting and still eating this ice cream taking turns using the spoon (lol), when he asked me about my favorite movie, (I'm gonna put my personal fav but you can ofc think about your fav movie) "well it's kinda a series of movies, 8 movies, Harry Potter!!" I said full of excitement, "ooh it's one of my favorite movies too!!" and from there we started talikng about the movie and share our points of view... "you know, I actually always wanted to get a matching Harry Potter (or your fav movie) tattoo with someone" I said as we were mentioning the death eater's tattoos, "well let's get one someday" he replied really casually but it got me all fired up, because I really wanted this for too long, form when I first watched it, 9 years exactly "oh my god!! really??!!" "yeah why not" I just sat there smiling like a little child who just met santa.

It was 4h30 am when we decided we should go back to sleep, before he entered his room I called him "hey Jungwoo..." "huh" he turned around to face me, "thank you" I said hugging him, he hugged back "for what?" "nothing in particular, just thank you".

I woke up the next day to the sound of my alarm piercing through my ears, at first I was a bit confused why I had an alarm, today they had a day off, but when Jaehyun entered the room (waking poor bubu Tae), I remembered, we are supposed to go get my new books from uni and fill some forms, "c'mon wake up, we have to gooo" "okay okay, god!" and he left, ugh sometimes I don't get how are we related.

As I was getting dressed, Haechan opened the door really casually, waking bubu a second time, poor Taeyong, let the boy sleep, "ayo I thought we could- hey why are you getting dressed?" "well I have to go with Jae get some stuff for uni" I told him sliding my phone in my back pocket, "can I go with you? please?" he said being a drama queen, "yeah whatever, tell Jae though" "on it! SEE YOUUU". I left the room so Taeyong can have some peace, on my way down stairs I noticed how everything was quiet, they were all sleeping, but then I heard a door being closed I turned to find a dressed Jungwoo, when he saw me he came smiling, I couldn't help but to smile back.

"heyy" he said tilting his head looking so cute! okay no focus y/n "hii" "I hope you don't mind but Jae told me I can come with you as a 'sorry' for waking me up I guess" he said a hand on the back of his neck, "oh, of course I don't mind, but I should warn you, Haechan is coming with us too" I replied giggling.

We ate real fast and left, I don't need to say it, we all know Haechan was in possession of the aux, blasting his music. Then Jae asked "how much time do we have before it closes?" "it's still 9 am we have till 1 pm, why?" what did he possibly wanted to do, my question was quickly replied to "I was thinking maybe, we can pass by WayV's dorm, I mean it's close by and I need to pick up something, that way you can meet them too" "fine by me" I replied.
