I gasped.
"What was that about?"
Hero was still seething in anger.
"No one talks to you like that, okay. I've had it with all the bullshit. You're a Tiffin now. There's nothing anyone can do about it."
"Or anything?" I added hopefully.
His eyes turned cold, staring at me with more urgency than he ever had before.
"God this makes me want to fuck the shit out of you. You're mine and only mine."
I flushed, tucking a strand of hair behind my ear.
"Not here... It would be inappropriate..."
Hero groaned.
"Fine. But I'm going to claim that pussy. Tonight."
I licked my lips, feeling all the more turned on by his dirty words.
"No need. You already have it."
He grinned as he led me to the table.
Later after we had set all our affairs in order, we returned home. It was dark as I stared out the sleek windows, admiring the starry sky.
"Penny for your thoughts, wife?" Hero teased as he removed his tie.
He had been wearing nothing but suits the last week.
It seemed he had no choice. Our new business partners were very cutthroat and had a certain way of running things, though they were not to cross any boundaries.
Hero was after all their ex- bosses son.
I had also been expected to dress differently. No longer did I wear my blouses and khaki skirts. I now wore thousand dollar slacks and blazers. Expensive three piece dresses and heels higher than I could see.Even my hair had been thinned and slicked to excess.
"Nothing I haven't already admitted." I laughed. "It's just all so hard to wrap my head around. Aren't you annoyed by all the professional hair dressers and fitters that stumble through this foyer daily?"
Hero grinned.
"Baby, I'm just as mystified as you at all this. I was sent away all my life. I never got to enjoy my mother and father's success. But I want you to live the best life you can."
I beckoned him over, burying my face into his chest.
"I feel so guilty leaving my job. You should have seen Tawnee's face. I mean..."
He chuckled, releasing his grip on me so he could bare his chiseled physique to me.
"She knew you meant well. You have a title to uphold, as well as me. You can still visit her outside of work."
"It hasn't affected your friendship with Niall?"
At this, he turned away.
"Love... We've been friends for so long. Besides, he's so enthralled with my cousin- I don't even know why-"
I glowered."Be. Nice. They are married after all."
After a moment, Hero allowed a sly grin."Fair enough."
His hands lowered to the button of his jeans. I found it impossible to tear my eyes away."Like what you see?" He smirked.
I tried to reply but I ended up choking on my words.
Hero made his way over to me when he reached his boxers. He was glistening with sweat, making his smooth skin look like silk.
