Last day before summer

I woke up to the smell of burning wood, cinnamon, and vanilla. I smiled to myself, I was in pure heaven. I opened my eyes and looked around. Fred was still asleep with his heat on my chest and his arm wrapped around my waist. Across the room, Lee was still asleep in his bed but George wasn't in his.

I brought my hand up and played absentmindedly with Fred's hair. He stirred slightly but didn't open his eyes. I thought he was still asleep until I heard him mumble "I love waking up like this." I giggled softly, careful not to wake Lee up.

Then George walked in from the bathroom when he heard Fred talk. "I bet." George said, laughing quietly when he saw our position. I rolled my eyes and Fred opened his eyes. "Well I was until you got here." Fred said.

Then George shrugged and walked back into the bathroom to finish flossing his teeth. Fred moved his head and looked up at me smiling. I smiled back and let out a small laugh. "What?" I asked. "Your so cute." He said. He had that deep morning voice that I loved. "Your cute." I said. Then he pulled my chin towards him and kissed me.

That must have woken Lee up because he was now sitting up and rubbing his eyes. "Bloody hell you two. I get it, your dating, but that does not need to be the first thing I see in the morning." Said Lee. "Sorry." I said while Fred and I laughed.

"I should go and get ready now anyway." I said. I threw the blanket off of me and started to get up. Fred grabbed my arm gently. "Don't go love." He whispered in my ear. "I've got to, I don't want to miss breakfast." I said. "Fine, see you later love." He said, letting go of my arm. I got off the bed and stood up. Then Fred gave me a kiss on the cheek, and I left.

~ Time Jump ~

The school year had ended and tomorrow we had to go home for the summer. I was laying with my head in hazels lap while we read books on the couch in the Gryffindor common room.

Then I noticed Fred walk into the room. "Hey." He said. I put down my book and sat up. "Hey, where have you been? I feel like I haven't seen you all day." I said. He smiled and said "give me your hand." I let out a small laugh and held out my hand to him. He took it in his and started to pull me towards the door.

"Where are we going?" I asked. "You'll see." He said. He led me out of the common room into the corridors then stopped. He took out a small piece of fabric and held it up. "It's a surprise, I need to blindfold you." He said smiling. "Uhh, I dunno. Knowing you you'll accidentally run me into a wall." I said laughing.

"Do you trust me?" He asked. "Yes." I replied. "Then let me put it on, I'll be careful I promise." He said. "Ok fine." I replied. I closed my eyes as he fastened the fabric over my eyes and around my head.

He led me around the castle, I had no idea where we were going until we were outside. "Why are we outside?" I asked. "It's a perfect day, why not?" He asked. I was confused but I just went with it.

We eventually stopped. He lifted the blindfold off of my eyes to reveal a beautiful picnic set up underneath the shade of a willow tree, not the whomping willow. It had a blanket set up with all my favorite foods and I bouquet of little white flowers.

"Freddie, it's beautiful." I said. "Your beautiful." He said handing me the bouquet. I smiled at him and we sat down. "So this is what you've been doing all day." I said. "Yup, took me all morning." He said. I could tell he was proud of himself, he put a lot of work into this. "It's perfect." I said. I leaned over and kissed him.

Then we began to eat. We talked about random things and what we we're going to do during the summer. "Remus invited me to stay with him for a while this summer." I said. "Oh, thats good. Are you going to go?" He asked. "Yeah. I want to get to know him more." I said.
