One more wish

They've been lying to Defne all this time

Eda woke up in the best way possible the next day, with Serkan's soft pecks all around her face.

"Good morning baby"- Serkan said as she slowly opened her eyes, giving her a peck on the nose.

"Hey, why are you not in bed with me and why are you fully clothed? Why didn't you wake me"- Eda said but then was interrupted with a gentle kiss on the lips.

"Come on, breakfast is ready"- Serkan said making Eda smile so big her dimples showed up.

"I'm starving"- Eda said as Serkan kissed her dimple.

Serkan had arranged breakfast for both of them on the terrace, where you could see all of Istanbul. The view was lovely and the food was great. What a perfect way to start the day!

"So, what are our plans for today?"- Eda asked as she sipped her orange juice.

"We're going to my father's office to see anything that could give us more information about Defne and then we're meeting Luca at lunch to discuss our plan furthermore."- Serkan said and then got up. "Ready?"

"Yes, let's go"- Eda said as she took his hand, heading to the elevator.

The road to Alptekin's former office was long, they had to drive all the way into Istanbul, and the traffic wasn't making it any easier. Eda could feel how tense Serkan was, so she took his hand and kissed it, hoping to calm him down a little.

"I'm here you know that? You can talk to me"- Eda said and Serkan smiled lightly.

"I know... I know"- Serkan said, tangling his hand with hers as they finally arrived. Before they got out of the car, Serkan gave her a gun.

"Eda, no matter what, I want you to have this with you at all times."- Serkan said as he handed her the gun, and despite not wanting to take it, she did. She knew she needed it, because things could escalate pretty easily in their world and the worst thing that could happen is they being unprepared for it.

"Fine"- Eda said as she took it and placed it under her belt. Some of their men stayed outside, securing the perimeter as Eda and Serkan got inside.

"We're checking the storage first"- Serkan said as they headed downstairs. The place was dusty and it looked like no one had been there in years.

When they arrived, Serkan took a key out and opened the door. It was a small room that had pretty much all of Alptekin's belongings gathered in some boxes.

"Come on. Let's open them. Search for any clue that has to do with my mother and Defne"- Serkan said as he closed the door behind them.

They got to opening all of them, but most of the things they found weren't needed. There were a bunch of old clothes and old files he kept, but they weren't giving up, there had to be a clue or something that could tell them a little more of what happened.

"Serkan, look what I found"- Eda said as she took an album in her hands. She cleaned the dust before opening it, only to find it full of pictures.

"Look Serkan, this is my mother. Wait, is this yours?"- Eda asked as she pointed to the blonde woman on the side of Alptekin.

"Yes, this is she."- Serkan said with a sad smile on his face

"She was beautiful"- Eda said as she flipped the page, gasping at the photo that came next. It was Alptekin with a little girl in his arms, she couldn't have been more than 5.

"According to the date written here, she was kidnapped 8 years before your parents' death. So that would make her around 27 years old."- Serkan said as he took the photo in his hands
