Serkan never left her side for the next four days despite everyone telling him to. He even moved her to the mansion where they stayed at, arranged his office where they slept so she could be comfortable. Melo came in and checked on her every day even though there were nurses around at all times.

The sun had just risen and the first rays of it fell slightly on Eda's eyes, causing them to shut tightly for a second due to the sensitivity.

She slightly opened them, but her vision was still blurry and she could help but feel a warm presence on her side. When her vision cleared and she finally opened her eyes, she couldn't help but debate whether that was really Serkan lying next to her, holding her hand tightly, or just her imagination playing tricks on her.

She raised her hand to caress his hair, his cheek, his beard and then his lips, causing him to slowly wake up.

"Hey."- she whispered and Serkan couldn't believe his eyes. She came back to him.

"Eda... hey."- he answered lost for words, his eyes full of unshed tears and Eda could see the black bags under his eyes, which determined that he hadn't slept well. He looked tired, concerned but above all, emotional and happy.

"What happened?"- She asked as she felt her body numb.

"Don't ask, please"- he said as he leaned in and hugged her tightly to his heart. "I thought you, I... you almost..."

He couldn't manage to even form a sentence and she heard something in his voice she'd never heard before, fear.

"Shh, I'm here Serkan. You're not getting rid of me that easily."- she said, making him chuckle but not breaking the hug.

"You scared us so much... I mean me, you scared... Fuck"- he cursed for not being able to ever express his feelings so clearly, making Eda chuckle. "I missed you."

"Serkan, what happened? Defne, Anton?"- Eda asked as her memory slowly came back to her.

"Fuck them Eda. They will pay for it. What matters is that you're alive."- Serkan said as he gently pecked her lips.

They spent a couple more minutes touching each other, kissing each other, looking into each other's eyes.

"You're beautiful"- Serkan murmured to her as he kissed her lips again, not getting enough of her.

"And you look tired"- Eda said as she caressed his face. "Why?"

"I was worried about you"- he said but didn't have to. She already knew just by looking at his eyes.

"Careful. You show any more affection and I might think you actually have a crush on me"- Eda chuckled and so did Serkan.

"What are we 12?"- Serkan smiled at her. "But jokes aside, I have to tell you something"- he said but then was interrupted as Melo got into the room.

"Melo?"- Eda gasped in surprise. "What are you doing here?"

"She kinda saved your life. You should be thanking her"- Serkan smiled at Melo. She actually was the biggest support when Eda was still in a coma. Melo would often come to the room to change her IV fluid bag and find Serkan sleeping while holding Eda's hand, so they kind of got used to each other.

"Canim, you're finally awake. Serkan do you mind calling the nurse, I need some help"- Melo said, not because she needed help, but because she was hoping she could talk to Eda alone.

"Yeah sure"- Serkan said as he got up and then left.

Eda and Melo spent some minutes in silence.
