Aria, Hanna, Spencer and Ivy were sat in Spencer's car. Spencer had managed to get away from Garrett before anything happened.
"It was just the two of you, sitting in Garrett's car?" Hanna asked.
"I didn't know where else to meet him. It wasn't like I could ask him that stuff down at the precinct." Spencer replied.
"How did you get away from him?" Ivy wondered. She leaned forward.
Spencer looked at Aria. "When you sent me that text, I told him it was from my Mom. She wanted me home ASAP." Spencer spoke. "Am I still shaking? I'm still shaking." She breathed, looking at her hands.
"Yeah, we're all shaking. Can you turn on the heat? You could make a slushie back here." Hanna exaggerated.
Ivy shivered and started rubbing her arms to keep warm.
"Guys, why would Jenna give him that lantern?"
"You don't know that she gave it to him." Hanna started.
"What do you think, he bought it at the blind artists' crafts fair? Of course she gave it to him." Spencer mused. Ivy chuckled. "The question is, when did they become buddies? And why?"
"Spencer, they grew up across the street from each other. His parents still live in that house. Maybe he's just bringing raw meat to Jenna's cat." Hanna suggested.
"Toby lives there, too, and they don't have a cat." Spencer argued back. "Then maybe he was bringing over raw meat for Jenna."
Ivy saw Emily walk out of her old house and towards the car. "Here comes Em." She announced.
"Who's living in her house now?" Spencer wondered. "Some losers who can't figure out the alarm system. They've tripped it like three times. The security company keeps calling her Mom in Texas." Ivy informed.
Emily opened the car door and climbed into the seat next to Ivy, Hanna was on Ivy's other side. "Everything okay?"
"Yeah, fine. It's just weird to walk in there and see other people's stuff."
"Yeah, why don't you tell 'em to lay off the alarm a couple of days?" Hanna said. "I'm guessing they don't feel safe."
"Well, they will now. I'm sure Aria's parents are going to have Mike on lockdown til he turns 18." Ivy punched Hanna on the arm. "Uh, ow."
"You did not just say that, Hanna." Aria spoke from the front.
"What? I'm not judging. I'm just guessing that your little brother will find another hobby besides breaking and entering."
"Still talking." Spencer scolded. "Guys, look, I don't know what's going on with my little brother. If I knew, you would know."
Ivy reached into her bag that she brought and pulled out a chocolate bar. She looked up to see the girls staring at her after they heard rustling coming from her direction. "What?" She shrugged, unwrapping the bar. "I get snacky." She took a bite.
