"How you guys holding up?" Hanna asked.
After the events in the hospital, the girls decided to move to The Brew to have a debrief of the events of the day. That was where Ivy told them all about how it was her idea for Jason to leave. She informed them that she couldn't let Jason stay in Rosewood and be a direct target for 'A'. She wasn't gonna let that happen. She couldn't let 'A' target any of her loved ones. She would do anything to stop them from getting on 'A's hit list. Including sacrificing herself for them.
Ivy was pissed off. She had been glad to have a break from 'A', but it didn't last very long. The more she thought about the future, the more she wanted to leave Rosewood as soon as she could. It was only seven months until she was done with high school and she was able to leave Rosewood. She just hoped time flew by and that 'A' didn't do anything too drastic within those seven months. She was exhausted.
"Don't think I'll be taking an elevator any time soon," Emily joked bitterly.
"Me neither," Ivy agreed, wrapping her hands around her mug, warming up her freezing hands.
"Any word from Jason?" Aria wondered, glancing over at Ivy.
Ivy shook her head. "Not much. He sent me a text saying he's safe to reassure me, but he's probably driving to a friend's right now," Ivy explained. She brought her mug to her lips, taking small sips of her hot chocolate.
Ever since Jason left the hospital, Ivy was constantly checking up on her boyfriend. She needed to know if he was safe, and that 'A' hadn't somehow followed him out of Rosewood and hurt him. Thankfully, Jason seemed to be safe, which put Ivy's anxiety at ease.
"Okay, so now that the whole N.A.T. Club is out of Rosewood, do you think that 'A' will retire?" Hanna questioned hopefully.
"Clearly not. That text Ivy got shows that 'A's not gonna stop," Spencer reminded her.
"Great," Hanna muttered.
After a small period of silence, Emily spoke up, averting the topic back on track, "Okay, so, Cece lied about knowing Wilden, and then we find a picture of both of them with Ali."
"Yeah, a picture that's now gone." Aria sighed. "New rule. Next time we see anything that might be important to us down the road, it goes in the phone," Aria decided. And she did have a good point. Over the past year and a half the girls had lost evidence to 'A' that could help them. Some of the evidence could've stopped them from going around in circles trying to uncover the mystery of Alison's disappearance.
"Okay, so is it possible that Cece is—What are we calling her, red coat?" Hanna wondered.
Emily leant her chin against the palm of her hand, her elbow resting on the table. "I never saw a face," She responded.
"Yeah, me neither," Hanna agreed.
Noticing that Spencer had zoned out of the conversation, Aria turned to her and asked, "What do you think, Spencer?"
