The rustling of bags, poking of sticks and heavy breaths was all you could hear as the girls cleaned up trash. Wearing a orange jumpsuit, her hair tied back, Ivy stabbed her stick into a bottle, then a newspaper, and roughly shoved them into the black trash bag.

The girls were doing community service, instead of going to jail. Which Ivy was beyond happy about, but she really didn't want to spend her day picking up trash. Yes, she loved the wildlife and wanted to protect them, but she didn't want to do it when she was wearing an orange jumpsuit and it being hot outside. None of the five girls talked for ages, trying to rush through it.

"Only an hour and 30 minutes to go." Hanna spoke. Ivy stabbed her stick at two bottles. "I think it's more like two hours, but who's counting?" Aria breathed.

Ivy noticed a raven haired girl walk past them, with a bag over her shoulder. "How many hours you got left?" She asked a girl with a teasing tone. "Six months." The girl replied. "But your momma's not a big-shot lawyer getting you and your pals community service for tampering with evidence." The first girl said.

"I thought you said they killed somebody." Ivy glanced over at the two, then back to the task. "That's what the cops think, but the cops can't prove it." The girl laughed, "Cops are stupid."

Ivy was trying her best to ignore them, but Emily couldn't handle it. "We didn't do anything." She told them. "Don't talk to them." Spencer warned. "I'll talk to anybody I want to." Emily fired back.

"No, you won't." Spencer responded. "And who's going to stop me?" Emily queried. "Both of you just shut up. I don't want to hear it anymore." Aria groaned. The girls stopped but Emily just turned back to Spencer. "Did you at least think about my idea?"

"It was a bad idea when they arrested us, it's a bad idea now." Spencer said. "We finally have something solid. Why won't you use it?" Ivy audibly groaned, throwing her head back. "Because our can't make a deal with a rattlesnake." Spencer spoke.

"You can if you have something the rattlesnake wants." Hanna snapped her head up to look at the two. "Can we stop talking about snakes?" She suggested. Spencer turned back to Emily. "Listen to me. We're not going to be making any kind of deal with 'A'. That's final." Spencer shouted.

"Maybe for you. The rest of us don't have lawyers for parents." Emily turned away, just as Spencer spun round to look at her. "Meaning what?" She asked. "Meaning your mom may have got us a deal, but if they ever find out a way to charge us for killing Ali, she'll throw the rest of us under the bus to save you...and you'd let her."

When Emily turned her back, Spencer threw her bag at Emily, getting stuff all over her. Emily stood with a shocked look on her face before launching for Spencer. They ended up on the floor, rolling about in the mud, pushing each other. "Guys stop!" Aria and Ivy shouted. Two sheriffs came running over to break up the fight.
