Ivy woke up to Hanna shaking her. "No, leave me alone. I don't want to go see Santa." Ivy grumbled, still half asleep.

"Wake up, Emily's gone!" Hanna whisper-shouted. Ivy sprang from her bed and they rushed into Hanna and Emily's room. No sign of Emily. "Maybe she just needed to pick something up." Ivy suggested.

"At five in the morning?"

Both girls ended up waiting for her. It had been an hour, so Hanna called Aria and Spencer.

Spencer was on the phone with Emily's swim coach. "She's not at swim practice."

"No, I told you. She's not allowed near the pool." Hanna exclaimed. Ivy was pacing, back and forth, thinking of where Emily could go.

"Guys, all of her clothes are here. You think she did something crazy?" Aria asked. "I mean, probably, if 'A' texted me in the middle of the night, I know I would." Ivy told.

Spencer ignored the girl's comment and spoke to Aria, "Like what?"

"Like jump in her car and burn rubber till she hits Texas." Aria suggested. "That does seem like a good idea, let's go." Ivy turned to walk to the door, but Hanna grabbed her shirt and pulled her back.

"And leave everything behind? She didn't even take her phone." Spencer said. "I wouldn't either if I were her. 'A' had his/her/its hands around her neck and keeps reminding her."

Ivy bit her nails, she was worried. "She hasn't slept in weeks." Hanna informed.

"Who has?"

Spencer's eyes were locked on Emily's phone. "Hanna, did you not see this?" Spencer showed them a picture of Ezra kissing Aria. "Is that you?" Hanna held the phone in Aria's face.

"Yeah, of course that's me." Aria replied. "Well, unless you're Aria's mom, just assume it's Spencer, you know, slutting it up."

"Wait, when did she get that?" Aria questioned. "3:07am and it came with a text." Ivy responded.

"Emily would never send that to your mother." Ivy reassured. "Well, of course she wouldn't because she can't, cause we have her phone and she left in the middle of the night! I mean, where the hell is she?"

The four girls decided to go to Dr Sullivan's office to see if maybe Emily was there. She wasn't. The group sat in silence. They thought that it would be likely that Emily would come to Anne's office, and they were right.

A knock sounded at the door, Dr Sullivan stood up to get it. Emily's voice spoke out of breath, "Hi. I'm ready...to talk."

"Good. Come in and join us." Emily walked in to see the girls all on edge. "Your friends have been worried about you."
