"We're giving him all of it? $2,000 is a lot of money!" Emily questioned.

Spencer had just told Aria, Emily and Hanna about getting the money. And now they were asking questions.

"Emily, if he can finally tell me who 'A'  is, I would hand over a million." Spencer stated.

Aria nodded. "Yeah, and not ask for change."

"How'd you get the rest of the money so fast?" Emily asked.

Spencer was facing her locker, so they couldn't see her worried face. "What? Um...I have a relative."

She wasn't technically lying. Ivy thought.

"Which one?" Emily wondered.

"I promised that I wouldn't say."

Emily dropped it, and then turned to Aria. "What time did Jonah say to meet him?"

"Six, but, um, look, not all of us are gonna go. It's just me and Spencer, so we'll meet up with you afterwards." Aria said.

Ivy, Emily and Hanna glanced at each other. "Why just you two?" Hanna asked.

"Because I'm the face that he knows, and she's the bank." Aria nodded at Spencer.

Spencer agreed. "If we crowd him, he's gonna think something's up."

"Something is up. We're finally gonna fine out who's been torturing us since Ali's funeral, and, hello, I kind of wanna be there for that." Emily said, her voice raising slightly.

"Volume!"

Just then Mona came up to them. "Hey, ladies!"

"Hey." They chorused unenthusiastically, though Ivy waved at Mona.

"Okay. Um, Hanna, can I borrow you for a sec?"

Hanna gave the girls a small smile, before following Mona.

"I'm absolutely starving." Ivy groaned.

"Let's go get some food." Aria suggested. And she turned and called Hanna, "Han? We're gonna go to lunch. We'll meet you there." And then the four headed down the hallway.

Aria
Plan changed. Will explain later.

That was the text Ivy got while studying. She checked with Hanna and Emily, and they got the same message.

Ivy basically sat in her room most of the day. Catching up on homework, writing an essay for English.

When she finished, she went downstairs, and just then she got another text but this time it was from Spencer. Spencer texted the group chat, inviting them over to her house.

"So...that's why you were never charged with shoplifting?" Aria questioned.

The girls were gathered at Spencer's house, sat up in her room, and Hanna had just told the girls about her mom hooking up with Wilden to get her charges dropped.

"Okay, you know what? Please, no jokes, no judging." Hanna said.

"All of this was over a pair of designer sunglasses?" Hanna gave Spencer a look. "I'm sorry, I'm just still processing."

Hanna sighed. "God, if my mum knew that I told you guys this—"

Emily interrupted. "We'd never judge her! She took me in. She's amazing. My mom would have driven me to the station, and offered to take the mug shot." She mused.
