"Here are all the contracts that our investors sent us, all signed." Sana reported to me.
Then she continued to present twelve different contracts infront of my desk, ten from the businessmen's who offered small investments, and one from Momo, one from Mina.
In those papers were written the terms that both parties wanted, I continued signing the papers as I skimmed through it one by one. The demands on the contract are quite in the same term, but a certain line on a one certain folder made me contemplate into signing it. The contract of the Myoui's.
"As for assurance we want one of our people to monitor the establishment of the company by observing the site along with the engineer?" I read out loud and looked at Sana with my brows furrowed. "What was this supposed to mean Sana?" I asked in utter confusion because I can't fathom why an investor would send a spectator to a project not related to sales.
"I don't know, maybe they wanted to send someone here in the guesthouse to monitor our work." She shrugged and continued to collect all the contract papers that I finished signing except for one that I'm still contemplating about signing.
Sana sighed and knocked on the table to get my attention, "If that's your only doubt, it's not a big deal Chae. They invested a large amount of money, they just wanted assurance, it's nothing." She tried to convince me, and that's what made me think that somehow, it makes sense.
Sana was right, considering that small request for the amount of money they invested, I should grant that to them. I didn't contemplate about it much more and just followed my practical self and signed the contract to avoid it adding up to my 'things Chaeyoung should think about' list. I gave the contract to Sana and leaned my back on my swivel chair giving it a rest for almost half a day of working hard.
She gave me a smile then left the office after, to send back the contract back to the investors through mail.
After Sana had completely left the premises of my office, I was faced with a pouted look in my secretary's face sitting on her desk just across my table.
"I feel like I'm getting useless here Ms. Son." She stood up about to get a coffee which was part of her schedule every two o'clock in the afternoon. "Engineer Minatozaki is doing all my work." She sulked a little before leaving the office to get some coffee.
I just chuckled. If a stranger witnesses this scene they would probably think it's disrespectful for an employee to talk to her boss this way, but no, this is what I like the most about my employees, they were like family.
And I understand her side of sulking over not getting to have work around, because Sana literally does everything around here including works that aren't hers. Some are thankful to her, but some are a bit disappointed because they felt useless without being able to do anything, just like my secretary.
I could tell that Sana had really changed, but I think she's doing it for herself this time and that's better.
After my secretary handed me the brewed coffee that she made I gave her an errand to check the status of the land's deed where our building will be built. Of course, Sana was supposed to do that tomorrow, but to atleast make up for my secretary's bored ass, I just gave her a work to do to avoid being the receiving end of her complaints about how unlively her job is.
I was left alone on my office after that, spinning around on my swivel chair, thinking of a fun thing to do, something like playing video games in my computer or look for a new interesting app in my smartphone to kill time.
But before I could come up with anything, my door bursted open that revealed my strand of hope of not being bored for the next hours in my office, I thought. She's spinning her keys on her hand while whistling, which is a very usual thing that a person in a good mood would do.
"What do you need-" I was cutted off by a jacket threw on my table by no other than my fucking disrespectful best friend Chou Tzuyu.
Before I could ask anything about it, she answers it herself. "Give that back to your engineer she left that at the hotel." Tzuyu said and sat on the couch near my desk.
A thought build up in my head and I looked at my bestfriend with a sly look on my face. "Why was Sana's jacket at your hotel?" I cheekily asked that obviously flustered her.
She probably didn't prepare an excuse on her smart mind because she just stood up and avoided my eyes. "Uhm I forgot I was about to go somewhere. Bye small bean." She made up an excuse and started running out of my office.
All I could do was laugh at the giant woman hastily walking out of the door, almost tripping on her way out. This didn't do any better into adding up thoughts to my malicious mind. I could only think that,
something's going on.
But I didn't put much thought into it because I also considered the fact that they hated each other to the bones. Maybe Sana was just drunk again and Tzuyu picked her up somewhere in the street or maybe something else, I just don't want to think about it.
But either way, I don't want to let the opportunity slip away to tease the almighty engineer Minatozaki Sana. She rarely gets annoyed (except when she fights with Tzuyu), and it would be an achievement in my life to see it even once in my life.
After a few more hours later of waiting bored and alone, Sana came back and slumped on the couch. I immediately got up on my seat and stood infront of her, I threw the jacket on her lap, 'this is the chance' I thought.
"This yours?" I asked and pointed at the jacket. Her face suddenly lit up and hugged her jacket.
She had her own little celebration after finding a maybe valuable possession, then she turned to look at me with gratefulness in her eyes. "Yes! I've been looking for this all day, where did you find it?" She said as she gave me a bright smile. I gave her a teasing look and a smirk.
"What were you doing at Tzuyu's hotel last night?" I straight up asked for the intention of teasing her, she looked down and I saw her face blushed by the sudden question.
"I was uhm..." She was trying to formulate an answer my question, which is obviously not working because she stood up and attempted to run away.
But I was quick to grab her shirt that stopped her from getting away. "Never doing the same mistake again, Minatozaki." I said and chuckled. "Don't tell me something's going on?" I teased again that made her face me and slapped my arms.
"Ouch!" I collapsed on the floor 'cause of laughing too much. She kicked me on the feet out of annoyance because of what I asked her.
As I thought, teasing someone by the assumption of something's going on between her and the person she hates the most works as a way to really annoy them.
I can see the non-existent smoke on the top of Sana's head. She was scarlet red out of cringe, maybe, but whatever causes it, it's still fucking funny how she's so annoyed with a simple teasing.
I continued to laugh and she continued to hit me with almost all of her body parts. When she tried to smack me again she accidentally slipped on her jacket that's on the floor so she unintentionally fell on top of me. A very unexpected circumstance that surprised the both of us. Then another unexpected circumstance occured, because the door suddenly opened and showed the person who shouldn't, of all people, witness this scene.
That's when a fucking drama started.
