2 years later

It's been two years, and two years too long for missing the person that had been absent in their life. Nayeon and Jeongyeon still misses her, but with Mina staying beside them, they're just glad that this Japanese woman was the person Chaeyoung chose to love.

NJC never made it through the investigation, the project was forfeited for the suspicion that they might be connected to the Hirai Corporation. But thank god Sana's plan didn't go to waste when Mina offered her to be the engineer of building the Myoui Corporation here in Seoul, she's transferring the main branch since she wanted to take care of Chaeyoung's parents.

Mina became the new Chairwoman after her father died a year ago, and now she's supporting her own family and Chaeyoung's parents. Although Nayeon and Jeongyeon told her not to, she insisted saying that, that would be what Chaeyoung wanted her to do.

The couple was very nice to her, they come into her office sometimes and they visit her every weekend in Chaeyoung's penthouse where she lives now to share a meal or spend the day knitting or baking. Nayeon and Mina had a great connection, and according to Jeongyeon they would make a great bond of in laws if only Chaeyoung and Mina had the chance to get married.

Mina never bothered looking for a house here in Seoul, she just occupied Chaeyoung's house. Memories are everywhere, and at least here even Chaeyoung's scent stayed. She wanted to miss her every single day, never letting a second pass that she would forget about Chaeyoung. She reminds herself everyday that Son Chaeyoung is a part of her and will forever be a part of her.

Mina also uses Chaeyoung's dark blue Mustang Shelby GT500, she has a car, lots of it, but nothing beats the memories of Chaeyoung picking her up from her dance class before. Her life practically revolves around her lover, remembering her, reminiscing their memories, missing her and that's exactly how she wanted it to be.

"You really should be opening that box now." Her best friend told her as the woman saw how she intently looked at the box Chaeyoung gave her.

Mina smiled at Jihyo, yes they're friends again. "I don't want to Ji. As long as I could resist myself I would, because once I saw what's inside this box then it just proves that all of this is true. That she's gone."

Chaeyoung's words suddenly flashed back to her, that she should just open it when she comes back or when something bad happens to her. And Mina can't accept that right now, not right now.

"But she is gone," Jihyo suddenly affirmed, Mina looked at her as her heart felt like it fell off her chest. Jihyo walked towards Mina and held the Japanese woman's shoulder. "I'm not telling you to forget her but you have to move on Mina. I bet Chaeyoung would want you to do that too."

Mina just smiled at her, she would love to do that too. But definitely not now.

"By the way, did you hire a secretary already." Jihyo asked, she's sitting on the couch already.

"I hired one, her name is Kim Jisoo. But she's in Busan now to visit her family."

Jihyo just nodded profusely, the door slammed after then and showed the two woman with a very huge height difference. "What are you doing here? Don't you guys have work?" Jihyo confronted the two who just came.

Dahyun just grabbed an apple on the table and sat beside Jihyo, munching loudly as to obviously intentionally annoy her. Jihyo could just glare at her.

"You guys are here everyday." Mina chuckled. It's true, these three sometimes four, including Sana is visiting her everyday. Sometimes she wonders if these people are jobless by how much free time they had in their hands.

She knows that they came here to check on her, it almost became a part of their routine to check on Mina ever since that time two years ago. All of them are Mina's friends now.

"Don't mind us Mina, Tzuyu just wanted to see her girlfriend." Dahyun teased that made the younger throw her a glare. Mina and Jihyo just laughed at them.

"Sana's not here asshole." Tzuyu retorted, and then the banters between the two started.

They all stayed there until lunch, they plan on staying there a bit longer but Mina already kicked them out. She knows they all have pending works to do, and bothering them doesn't really sit right for Mina. She just focused on doing her own works, constantly getting her attention shift away everytime her eyes caught her and Chaeyoung's pictures on her table.

Just remembering and missing their memories together.

Meanwhile somewhere...

"You've been here for a while kid. Do you at the very least remember your name now?" The fisherman whom they call Mr. Kim asked the small figured woman, they were both pulling out the net from the boat that just arrived.

The young woman smiled at him and shook her head. "If I do, I'd be out of here uncle." She said and then let out a small laugh. She's been here for a couple of years, ever since they found her on the shore here in Busan, she hasn't gotten out.

Money was hard to earn here, so is finding where she came from. She barely earn a penny by helping some fisherman here, more to knowing who she is when she doesn't even remember anything.

"Oh right, Min." Mr. Kim called her, it was the name they gave her, they saw those letters in her broken pendant when they found her. "My daughter is coming home tomorrow. You should ask her for help, she landed a job in Seoul you see. She might be able to help you." The fisherman told her as they walk towards the residence a few steps away. They just finished taking all the fish out, meaning they're done for the day.

"That would be great uncle, I just wish there are people actually waiting for me." The fisherman tapped her shoulders.

"Everyone has a family kid, even dogs do, even cats and even fishes. You said you remember a glimpse of having a lover right?" Mr. Kim said for the intention of comforting the woman. They sat beside each other under a tree's shade, to rest.

Min smiled to herself remembering the only memory she had. "I do, her face was blurry but the memory just seemed to be stuck up here, it was so clear. It feels like my brain doesn't want to forget her, all the memories are preserved, it just felt all familiar."

"That's a start, maybe she had been waiting for you all this time. I feel sad for you Min, I'll do everything to help you." Mr. Kim said to the young woman, Min was just a stranger to him and his family but he helped her as much as he can, took her in, take her to work. Min became a family for him and his wife for the past two years.

But actually she hasn't met Mr. Kim's daughter before because the woman was busy studying in Seoul, and now that she landed a job there, the daughter probably wanted to see her parents before she would probably be gone for another five years.

Min is actually excited for her arrival, not just because the woman would help her but also just by the thought of meeting the daughter of the couple who helped her.
