After the heart-warming reconciliation of the married couple, they tucked in to sleep cuddling through the night which is something they never did before.
Momo felt like she was in heaven dancing with the stars because her most valuable possession is holding onto her like she was just as important as to how Chaeyoung is to her.
This lingering feeling of overwhelm had yet to disappear the second her phone lit up and shown the name of her business partner, or more of a brother to her.
She carefully removes Chaeyoung's hands off her waist and tiptoed to the balcony with her phone on her hands to answer the call.
"Oppa" she called to the person on the other side of the line.
/How are you? You barely call me eversince you got married./
The older guy sulked that earned a light chuckle from the woman.
"I was too pre-occupied, sorry."
/Don't you got a problem to solve there? I heard Myoui Mina is back in Japan./
Momo sighed at the worried remark of her non-biological brother, "I know, but we can't really do anything now."
/Yeah, but remember, it doesn't end with the marriage Momo, you have to make sure Chaeyoung wouldn't figure everything out./
Momo instinctively looked at her wife to check if the younger woman is really sleeping after the mention of the topic. Upon making sure it was deep in her slumber, she turned back to her phone to answer the man on the line.
"I will, I promise."
The call ended leaving her with the feeling of uneasiness and fright. She's admitting that her happiness is out of what she deserves, but this happiness is too much to let go.
And losing it wasn't an option. She really wasn't that perfect of a person, and she'd mentally admit to herself that what she did was wrong, but she wouldn't justify that. All that matters is that she got what she wants, and she'll make sure it'll never go away.
The night yet again passed by like a blink of an eye. Chaeyoung woke up with the lingering smell of spam and bacon obviously coming from the kitchen. The most common breakfast to be said.
Her wife was nowhere to be found, yet she knows where to find it, in the kitchen of course. She swings her feet on the edge of the bed as she sat up, slid in her slippers and proceed to take a shower.
On the other hand, Sana and the team are the ones responsible for the smell occupying the whole house. They're preparing breakfast for everyone with their other boss, Momo that makes the whole room quiver in awkwardness because of the accident that happened yesterday on Chaeyoung's office.
Everyone was bussying themselves to get the issue out the both of their minds, Momo with the cooking, and Sana with the utensils. It was going smoothly until a presence once again appear and shook their worlds.
Chaeyoung's secretary walked over to the door and open it to the one dinging the doorbell impatiently. Everyone went to the living room to check who it was, and by means of everyone Chaeyoung also came out from their room, her hair still wet and disheveled indicating how she came out on a rush out of panic because of the constant sound of the doorbell.
It's raining outside. The glass windows are covered with mist and it's quite cold, but a woman stood infront all of them wearing sunglasses holding her luggage on her right hand.
Their mouths agape and their eyes widened upon seeing who it was. If surprise was a name, it would definitely fit her.
Myoui Mina.
