Third Person

This was the most tiring day that a person could have ever encounter. For Son Chaeyoung, it was. She dropped herself on the soft cushions of the sofa inside of her friend's hotel room.

Dahyun was surprised of the visit but she was happy to see one of her bestfriend's face after being alone in this hotel room for what it seems like forever.

"What's with the face?" Dahyun asked as she placed a cup of coffee infront of her depressed looking friend.

"I fought with Momo, she thought I was doing malicious wonders with my ex-girlfriend inside my office." The sulking girl explained which earned a suppressed snicker from her friend.

Dahyun tapped her buddy's shoulder and gave her an annoying, "Good luck" which was followed by a chortle she was halting herself to let out earlier.

"Wow! You're such a big help Dahyun, I wonder how I could repay you." Chaeyoung rolled her eyes after giving a sarcastic reply.

"Relax dude." Dahyun shook her head to her buddy's sensitivity. "You should go to church sometimes. You keep on attracting problems." Dahyun adviced half-joking and half-serious.

"If that works, I would've gone to Vatican myself Dahyun."

They both let out a sigh and rested their heads on the headboard. "I must've committed a grave sin in my past life." Chaeyoung concluded that made the both of them release again a heavy sigh.

"You guys sure are bestfriends." The mother of the group appeared and came joining the two on their dramatic atmosphere. "What happened this time?" Jihyo asked.

"She cheated on Momo with her ex-girlfriend." Dahyun gave out a totally different story that made her end up on the floor after getting kicked by Chaeyoung.

Jihyo could only shake her head from the childish acts. "Settle down children or I'm the one who's going to kick you down the stairs of this hotel." She threatened as an attempt to stop the two of them from their unstoppable bantering, and as expected, it was a success.

"Chaeyoung, why are you here?" Jihyo asked again. The two once again sat on the couch, rested their heads on the headboard and once again let out a heavy sigh. Syncing like they were one soul over two bodies.

The cub then began to tell the story of what happened back in the guesthouse. Jihyo and Dahyun could only share the burden of their friend by comforting her as they also don't know how to solve its problem.

But upon analyzing Chaeyoung's story, they realized a very much more appealing issue than their friend who's facing a problem now. The two shared a smirk, and Chaeyoung already knew what's going on.

"Don't grill Tzuyu over it if you want to live." She warned both of her friends that surely are making scenarios inside their heads. "Help me with my wife instead."

The two brushed off their thoughts over Tzuyu taking Chaeyoung's advice to the heart because they both wishes to live.

"We're both in, what do you want us to do?"

"Drive me to the arcade." Chaeyoung said, and even if her friends are weirded out, they just granted her request.

Momo was sulking under the sheets of the bed that she and her wife shares. The scene that she saw earlier still pictures in her head.

Chaeyoung already explained what happened, but the thorn that was stabbed in her chest after seeing that, is what she can't shake off her thought.

She doesn't want to get mad at her wife either, but she still needs time to heal and forget what she saw. She promised herself to forgive Chaeyoung once she goes back home, but she didn't expect it to be this long.

Chaeyoung left when the sun was still up, and now it's almost midnight but the younger woman is still not back.

Momo hugged the blanket that's covering her skin, she could smell the faint fragrance of Chaeyoung's perfume in it. She didn't know where her wife developed that habit, but Chaeyoung never sleeps without spraying it on their bed.

And it only makes her miss her wife even more. She starts blaming herself on asking for some time to recover, that if only she had forgiven her earlier she would have the chance to look at the sleeping face of her partner beside her by now.

Before the frantic thoughts begin to build up in her mind, Chaeyoung suddenly came inside the room like a savior pulling her out of despair. Momo felt the heavy load of guilt getting lifted off of her shoulders.

The younger woman sat on the edge of the bed and gave her a bright yet a hesitant smile.

"Still mad?" She casually asked. Momo didn't waste another second and just gave her partner a hug. "Is that a no?" Chaeyoung giggled and hugged her wife back.

It took them enough long minutes staying like that before Momo pulled away. Chaeyoung felt a bit relieved and confident on giving the gift she prepared for her wife after the warm welcome. She pulled it out from her back and showed it to her wife with a delightful smile on her face. Momo looked at it confused.

"A stuffed toy?" Momo snickered that made the younger woman pout in disappointment.

"Don't you remember this Momo?" Chaeyoung asked a bit sulking that her wife doesn't remember it when it was the most memorable thing for the both of them. "This was the reason we met. This is the stuffed toy that you were so eager to get but can't, I gave you this in exchange for your number before." Chaeyoung explained that made Momo gasp after mentally beating herself up for not remembering such a special memory.

Momo took the stuffed toy out of Chaeyoung's hands and hugged it. She was really flattered that her wife prepared a gift for her while thinking about that special memory they had.

"Thank you Chaeyoung." She smiled at the latter.

"What do you mean thank you? It's not for free." Chaeyoung suddenly declared that made Momo look at her with widened eyes, a look of someone who's surprised after being pulled out from her heavenly feelings.

Chaeyoung held her wife's face and made her look at her in the eyes.

"That'll cost your forgiveness, ma'am." Chaeyoung smiled after successfully making her wife gone through a roller coaster of emotions.

Momo smacked her silly wife on the arms. "Stupid!" She shouted before Chaeyoung pulled her to another hug.

Momo was over the heels happy by the surprise, she never knew her wife would prepare something like this just to ask for her forgiveness. At this very moment, she felt really special.

"I'm sorry it took me to dawn to go back, I quite had a hard time getting this from the claw machine." Chaeyoung apologized that almost made Momo tear up.

"Do I worth this much to you?" She asked the latter and it pulled away from the hug to face her. Chaeyoung planted a kiss on her forehead before saying,

"You're worth more than that."
