Dark Josie's POV

My plan is finally setting in motion. Everything is all coming into place. All the students are afraid of me and the super squad can not do anything to stop me, and after my little dedicating attempt on Mg, they've already lost hope of the good Josie still being inside and treating me like a monster problem. Everything's going smoothly, well, except for Hope. That no-good Tribrid just won't give on up me, the good Josie probably would've found it endearing and romantic, but for me, it's starting to get really annoying. Ugh. I hate that feeling. But still, no matter how hard Hope Mikaelson tries to bring out the good in me it'll never work. I tried telling her that, but she just won't give up. She won't believe that her precious little Josie is gone, lost in her own little fairy tale, too afraid to come out and fight back. Pathetic really.

It's now time for the merge. The gym is already ready for our fight, my goons doing all of the work while I made my partnership with the Necromancer. He helps me with the merge and I help him with his Malivore-Landon problem.
"Vampires, witches, and werewolves. Children of all ages. It's the event we've all been waiting for. The... Merge!" the Necromancer announces as they would in boxing games through the P.A system. I hear all the students booing at him and I roll my eyes. These baboons don't know how to appreciate a good show.
"In the crimson corner and robe, hailing from Mystic Falls, Virginia, the former Queen of Codependency, the reigning Sultan of Siphon, Josie Saltzman!" I open the doors with magic and make my entrance walking to the ring with confidence as the students start booing me. "You are one hell of a hype man."

"Houdini said the same thing. And in the blue corner, the Queen of Mean, the Blonde Banshee, She Who Is About to Be Siphoned into Oblivion, your very own... Elizabeth Saltzman!" the crowd cheers for Lizzie and all heads turn to the door waiting for her to make her entrance. But the door stays shut. Lizzie nowhere in sight. Killing Alyssa Chang really must've rattled Lizzie enough to run away. Shame. I really wanted to do the merge. I laugh and grab the microphone from the Necromancer addressing the students.
"Well, my selfish sister didn't show up. Who am I gonna kill? Should it be... Ooh... vampires? Maybe witches? How about some werewolves? "I ask looking at all the respective factions. Before I could pick the door slam open, Hope Mikaelson making an entrance and does a flip to get inside the ring. I must say, that was quite an entrance.
"Why not try all three?" Hope says and the crowd goes wild with cheers and applause. Oh, this gonna be fun.

***

The bell clangs, and the crowds cheer when me and Hope start our fight, and immediately I can tell that she's not using her full strength. She's holding back on me. She's only defensive spells to block my attacks, and not throwing any of her own. That takes the fun out of everything. "Lecutio Maxima!" "Scutum!" there she goes again, a shield spell. She didn't get hit but with the power of my spell she losses balance and falls to the ground the Necromancer counting her down but he only gets to two before Hope is on her feet again.
"This isn't any fun. You're not even fighting back." I say pacing around.
"Neither are you. I know that you're in there, Josie." Hope tries to reason.
"Give it up, Hope. What's it gonna take to get it through to your thick wolf skull that I'm Josie now? Incendia!" she dodges the fireball and kicks me.

I lean back against the corner of the ring in the process, Hope gets on her knees looks at me with pleading eyes.
"You are not Josie. I know that you think she's weak, but I know the truth... she's strong. You're strong. No one could shoulder the burdens that you carry. And you're always there for your friends when they need you. So, please, Jo, we really need you right now." she pleads, throughout her speech, her voice stays calm and soft. I can feel something stirring inside me. The good Josie trying to come out shouting at me to let her get out. The Necromancer goes down over to me and points at Hope.
"Enough of this drivel! What are you waiting for? Kill the Tribrid." Josie's voice is getting louder and louder as she tries to take control, the loud crowd is no help
"Shut up. Everybody, shut up!" the crowd goes quiet but Josie doesn't and I can feel myself split and she takes over.
