Josie's POV

We enter Hope's room and I sit in her bed, she sits next to me. I try to tell her how I feel but my eyes always fall on her lips. And I couldn't take it anymore. What better way than telling her how I feel than by kissing her. At least if she rejects me I at least got to kiss her. I slowly lean in and she does too. Our lips are only centimeters away and she suddenly crashes our lips together. I kiss her back passionately. My hands travel to the back of her neck, hers on my waist. She kisses passionately and she glides her tongue down on her bottom lip asking for entrance, which I happily gave me. Our kiss got more heated. Our tongues fought for dominance.

I slowly move my hands from her neck to her shoulder and push her on the bed. And straddled her waist. She leans in and chases after my lips and kisses me with so much passion and lust. I move my kisses from her lips and make my way to her neck, making her moan. Suddenly there was a knock on her door. "Hope it's me, Landon." When I hear the knock on the door I am immediately brought back to reality. But I don't want to stop, so I don't. Hope doesn't stop too. I continue to kiss her despite Landon continuing to knock on the door. But Hope eventually pulls away and walks to the door, much to my dismay. She opens the door lightly trying to hide me then she speaks.
"Yeah Landon, what do you what?"

"You said we should meet after lunch to discuss what we're going to do in the talent show, but you never showed so here I am." Landon explains. Since when does Hope participate in the school's talent show? She never does anything like this before. I can't help but be jealous. The moment she decides to participate, she does it with Landon.
"Sorry lost track of time. I'll meet you in the common, just give me a second to grab my stuff." Hope says. "Yeah sure."
And with that Landon left, leaving me and Hope in an awkward situation.
"Sorry, Josie but I have to go. I'll see you at the talent show. Good luck." she says as she gets her bag then turns to leave. Before I could talk she is already out the door.

After Hope left I decide to go to the kitchen and grab the same milkshake as Hope then I went to rehearsals. I'll talk to Hope about what happened later tonight, maybe even continue what we started. I walk into the room and hear Lizzie calling for me so I walk to the stage.
"Am I late?" I ask. "Where are the canes?"
"I don't know. I actually went to go find them, right? But then I was thinking, I don't feel like stressing about it." I state.
"Y-You didn't want...? Okay. That's fine. Why don't you just take your usual place? " Lizzie suggests.
"Ah, about that. I was actually thinking, I really don't feel like being in the back row." I state.
"Uh, well, I know you haven't been practicing. But if you want - to be in the front, you..." she starts but I cut her off.

"I mean, I just think we should scrap that lame routine, right? Do something totally different. It'd be super fun, right? And without the canes. It'd be fun." I say while walking around and turning to the other witches, they all nod in agreement.
"But, my beloved sister, this is the routine we do every year. Because we win. Every year." Lizzie explains irritated. I slurp my drink and continue to voice my suggestion.
"I think I should sing a new song. And then everybody can contribute some choreography, and it can be like a real... collaboration, hmm. Doesn't that just sound nice?" I suggest. "Mm. Hmm." I then walk to Lizzie and give her a big side hug. Lizzie agreed to my suggestion so we all collaborated on what to do and then practiced it for the whole rehearsal.

Hope's POV

After I left Josie in my room after our heated moment. Me and Landon tried to brainstorm on what talent we should do. We eventually came to the conclusion of cake decorating after a long time of discussion.
"If it's gooey, then it's not done." I say as Landon puts the cake in the oven.
"Mm-mm. Are you sure cake decorating counts as a talent?" he asks.
"Well, um, you told me that you don't know karate, then you stepped on my feet during salsa, and then you straight up refused to try synchronized ribbon dancing." I state
"Sorry. My dignity wouldn't fit in the unitard." he chuckles.
"You know, it's not too late to pull out that notebook of lyrics that you have and sing something." I suggest.
