Lizzie's POV
Me and Josie eventually make it to the grand hall and see that almost all the triad guys are not here anymore, except for Burr who is up the stairs point a gun to Mg. Me and Josie chant a spell to make him puke bugs and Burr runs away. I slowly make Josie sit in the tables when Mg and Rafael walk to us.
"All right, Jo, you don't look too hot." Rafael says. And he is right. Josie's not feeling very well. She can barely stand and at this point and she so pale
"We got to go after Burr." Mg states.
"Don't worry. I got magical Hope bling, too." Rafael pulls out a necklace with a ring on it.
"If Josie and Lizzie can help me with a veiling spell...he'll never see me coming." We do what Rafael suggested. Once he's in wolf form we cast an invisibility spell on him, them I think he immediately runs out, with Mg following straight after him. Once all the Triad guys were accounted for I ask Jed to take Josie back to our room since it really hard to move Josie. Jed complied and sets Josie on my bed. Once he left I cuddled into Josie and made me her my little spoon, to at least provide her and myself a little comfort.
We stay in this position for a few minutes, with me crying and reminiscing about how I was so mean to her, I didn't even give her time to take care of herself. I was so selfish. I was a bad sister. I don't deserve Josie. Someone burst through the door and stops me from reminiscing the past. I stop cuddling Josie and turn to face whoever is at the door. "Daddy, this is so bad." I say. Dad immediately comes up to Josie and hands her a vial of blood.
"Josie... Josie, Josie, drink this now."
I take it and slowly makes her drink it.
She drinks the vial of blood and she starts to gain her color again, the bullet wound slowly fades away. Once I see that she's in full health I instantly give her a bone crushing hug Dad then joins us. Josie's alive! She's okay! After our hig dad goes to check on the other students. While I stay with Josie. I got a second chance and I'm not gonna waste it. I'm going to be better. I'm going to be a better sister, for Josie. I need to be better. Josie deserves the world, and I should have seen that sooner. Starting now I'm going to take care of her. I'm going to be there for my twin like she did fir me all those years ago.
Landon's POV
After I ditched my brother the headless horseman took me to Triad, we get there and the sun has already set. He takes me inside killing everyone who gets in his way kn the process. We eventually make it the the room with Malivore and he pushes me inside and I back away from him trying to convince him to stop.
"Look, hear me out. You can hear, right?" he takes out his bone whip.
"Uh...Uh, man-to-man, if you ever were one...You're being used. And-and I know what that feels like, so let's... Ow!" he hits me with his whip in the cheek.
"Ow, how do you even do that without your seeing-eye horse? Or is it more of an emotional support horse?" He rushes to me and pushes me into a wall. He grabs the artifact from my pocket.
"Oh, no, no, no. Please, please, please, don't!" I yell but he throws the artifact into the Malivore but just as it almost touches the mud it stops and flies up to... Hope. "Hope. I knew you'd find me."
"I just followed the clues you left in that voice mail. You're great at riddles. We should probably add fight training to your coursework, though." she says as she puts the artifact on the floor.
"Yeah." I agree. "Feel free to take notes." she says. She's a total bad ass and way out of my league. But I love her anyway. I'm lucky to have this girl in my life.
Josie's POV
When I came back to full health I got a show ler and changed. Lizzie after me. Once we got changed she insisted on brushing my hair so I let her. It feels good being cared for by Lizzie.
"I wonder what Hope's up to." Lizzie blurts out. "I bet she saved Landon already, and the world." she adds.
"Yeah, she's pretty good at that."
"Your girlfriend is a bad ass. Don't tell her I said that." I chuckle at her reply.
"Hopefully she gets back soon. Otherwise, Raf's gonna end up in the doghouse. Literally."
