She was nothing other than a girl, a silly little girl who would never tell me what she was thinking. If I'm being completely honest she scared me a little bit. I mean, how often is it that you meet a teenage girl that's so quiet and reserved yet so vile and crossed.
When it came to her I think she scared everyone. In case you're wondering who I'm talking about, her name was Apate. In case you didn't get the point, her name WAS Apate, past tense.
She's gone now. If you think about it, her name makes perfect sense; Apate: The personified spirit of deceit, deception, guile, and fraud. That's literally what she was, a big fraud. She lied to everyone about who she was, if she were honest we wouldn't have ended up in this mess.
Ha I guess I should explain from the very beginning, hello my name is Vad and in case you're wondering what that means, you'll find out later. This is a story about me and a girl, cliche am I right, however, this isn't just any story; it's a story of her life and death, a story of why if she just told the truth she'd still be alive.
