Bio: Born with snowy hair and blazing golden eye, Ymir was named for the great giant of old mythos. His bright, heterochromatic eyes gave some the impression he was possessed by a strange and perhaps even dangerous magic. His parents gave him up to the local monastery at a young age, hoping they could exorcise him.

Ymir grew up denied of companionship by his fellow children, he taught himself to seek solitude rather than company. The only time people associated with him was generally to him ask questions about his 'curse', or to reprimand him for showing his face in public. This caused him to become unusual and antisocial, seeking asylum out in the woods or near the lake. Often waking late at night due to restlessness, he would sneak out of the monastery while the monks slept and go for midnight romps.

He first transformed at the age of twelve years, during one of his aforementioned late-night adventures. Confused and frightened, he frantically stumbled through the streets, howling for help. The townspeople were terrified by the sight of the young werewolf, and began to chase him with torches and pitchforks, only adding to the struggle of his new discovery.

Ymir hid far from his birthtown for several years, surviving off wild game and living under the stars until he was sixteen. One fated day, he came across a fortress full of mixed breeds and outsiders, who were delighted to take the young werewolf in. He was trained in the ways of knighthood, and befriended a Dragonborn named Erik who was around his same age. Happy with his new life, though still wary and somewhat difficult to approach, Ymir the White Wolf Knight is instated as guardian knight of fortress-city Kilgrae.

And since he is a werewolf, the lunar cycle does effect him.
(Small note: This would probably be following the cycle of Secunda, though it is the smaller of the two moons.)

New Moon: A phase that effects him most negatively

New Moon: A phase that effects him most negatively. It is marked generally by mild depressive episodes and a desire for solitude.

Waxing Crescent: No effect.

First Quarter: No effect.

Waxing Gibbous: A phase generally marked by an increase in energy, and heightened irritability. Ymir can tend to be slightly restless and 'grouchy' during this period.

Full Moon: Ummm… if he asks you to stay at a certain distance, please oblige…

Waning Gibbous: A phase of decreased energy and temperament. Ymir seems more sluggish and laid back during this period.

Last Quarter: No effect.

Waning Crescent: No effect.

New Moon: Cycle repeats.
