I'm just going to lay the confession down here, I love the beast races TES did give us, I wouldn't trade them out; but they weren't very creative creature choices. With so many animals to choose from for inspiration, cats, foxes and other such commonly known animals seem a bit mundane. So I spiced it up, with lesser known creatures: the Tanuki of Asia, and the Genet of Africa. Enter two new beast races, Fortukyn, native to High Rock, and Alikriit, native to Hammerfell.
Fortukyn have a high a luck stat, increasing their success chances for attempts to learn or execute a skill. Alikriit are limber but impressively resistant, damage from poisons and magic are reduced against them.
And here's a Fortukyn Mage and a Alikriit Rogue to spice up this race introduction.
