The first time I drew my OC Lunar, she just had the babiest of faces. I ended up making her look a little older later on, but not much. She's actually about 37, betcha never would have guessed. She barely looks legal for crying out loud.

~ Le Backstory ~
Lunar Soul, one of four unnamed infants devoted to the 'betterment' of humanity. As it became complicated for police and the military to deal with supervillains, because human colonies on this planet had no superheroes, the laboratories run by the government sought out healthy, unwanted infants, under a year old. Equipped with cybernetic and biological enhancements, four subjects were created as the ultimate weapons to fight for humanity. They grew up as emotionless soldiers, training and taking orders from Project S.O.U.L. They were globally known, and globally celebrated, Solar, Lunar, Mars, and Comet. The four are assumed to be permanently stuck with the appearance of teenagers, or young adults, to make them appear less threatening and more appealing to the public. They were also programmed with facade personalities developed in the lab to make them seem more human than they really were. Slowly, however, Lunar, the second Alpha Soul, actually started to develop a personality, feelings, and a empathy for the humans she protected.
But, when a war broke out between two colonies, the government began a new project, Operation: Corrupted Soul. Three of the four took the reprogramming well, but Lunar couldn't imagine attacking and destroying people she had protected and loved for years. The corruption only worked half way, the programming still unstable, but slowly corrupting her entire neurosystem, Lunar destroyed the laboratory, injured the corrupted Souls, and shot herself off into outer space, where she would be distanced from humanity, as a failsafe for if the corruption managed to overcome her.
She is presumed to possibly have been frozen in cryosleep for several years.
(There's a lot more where that came from but it's kinda hard to explain. She was invented way back when I was a Marvel fan, she became part of my Halo AU when it was created because I had left Marvel, and the human colonies in Halo were the closest thing to what I had imagined to what her universe was like.)
