Katsuki has been tossing and turning in his bed for hours, unable to fall asleep.

Does he feel guilty about what he did? No, of course not. Why would he?

He must just be coming down with some sickness, one that causes excessive fidgeting, chest tightness, dry throat, and lots of necessary overthinking.

Probably just a cold, he'll be fine.

If he could just fall asleep, he'd feel normal in the morning. But he can't stop thinking about that damn green haired nerd.

His memory of last night had come back slowly, but he's now aware of what he dreamt vs what actually happened and he is very grateful that at the very least not everything was real.

He hates to admit it but he felt so energized and whole when he was holding Deku, it was the best he'd felt since before he found out about the mate bond they shared. Eventually he drifts off to sleep, imagining holding his mate again.

Knock knock!

Katsuki wakes up groggily, it can't have been more than three hours since he finally managed to fall asleep. Maybe if I ignore it it will go away, he thinks. But then the knocking persists, and he gets up ready to punch whoever it is in the face.

"WHAT?!" Throwing the door open, he is met with spiky red hair. Part of him was hoping it would be Deku, and then he's angry at himself for even thinking that.

"Hey Bakubro, we're going on a run with the squad today, remember?" Kirishima gives him a toothy smile.

"I never agreed to that." He does remember them talking about it in class, as they're always hanging around Bakugou's desk despite him telling them to go away.

"Awh c'mon everyone is waiting for you by the forest! They'll be disappointed if I come back empty handed."

"Let them be disappointed I don't give a fuck."

"I'm not leaving without you, man. You've seemed stressed lately and this should help you get your mind off of everything. You don't have to stay long."

Katsuki sighs, knowing there's no arguing against him. "Fine. Give me 5 minutes," shutting the door, he gets ready and comes back out.

The two werewolves make their way to the forest.

"Damn they must have left without us! That's fine we'll just have to catch up." Kirishima stops just a little bit into the forest before shifting into his wolf form, Katsuki following suit. While in their wolf forms, werewolves are able to communicate with each other telepathically.
