Katsuki is watching the road in silence, listening to his playlist. He'll periodically glance at Deku through the mirror to make sure he still seems okay. Currently he's nodding his head to the beat of the music, gazing out the window content. Despite the fact that Katsuki absolutely hates pop, he added in a few songs he knew Deku liked that contrasted his usual alt/rock mix. 

Things have also been going better than he expected, Deku seems to have mostly forgiven him even though he really shouldn't, if Katsuki were in his shoes he wouldn't forgive himself that easily he'd probably hold a grudge forever. Then again Deku isn't like that, and that's one of the things that make him so fascinating. 

"Hey Kacchan!"

"What?"

"I'm hungry," Deku states.

Katsuki starts looking for the nearest exit off of the highway and changes lanes. "So?"

"Sooooo can we stop somewhere please?" Deku leans forward in his seat so he's right next to Bakugou's shoulder. Todoroki fell asleep not too long after they left, he's still not used to being awake during the day since vampires are naturally nocturnal after all.

"We're going to take forever if we keep stopping." He retorts. 

"Aren't you hungry too? C'mon we won't need to stop again for a while!" he's right, Katsuki was getting hungry.

Sure he could be nicer to Deku, but he's never really had to be nice to anyone. He'd rather show how he feels through actions instead of words. Still, it wouldn't hurt for him to not be a complete asshole all the time.

He'd been lost in thought and didn't realize he didn't answer until Deku sits back again. "or not," he mumbles.

The blond pulls into a plaza with various fast food restaurants and turns around. "What do you want?"

"Oh wow I can't believe you actually listened- Hmmm you can pick where to go and I'll choose something from there."

"You were literally dispatched from the hospital earlier this morning I'm not going to let you starve! Now you're the one who wanted to stop so you choose!"

"Okay okay let's go here," Deku points to one of the places and they both step out, looking forward to stretching their legs after driving for so long.

Katsuki watches out of the corner of his eye as Deku stretches, lifting his arms above his head which causes his t-shirt to go up a bit.

"I can feel you staring at me Kacchan."

"WHAT?! I WAS NOT I'm just waiting for you to stop wasting my time so we can actually go. I've got better things to do than stare at your dumb broccoli head ass." Katsuki turns around and starts heading to the food place, Deku snickering behind him. "Plus you think I can't tell when you're checking me out with your wide eyes and red ass face? At least I'm subtle about it and don't drool everywhere."

"HA You just admitted to it!!" Deku pokes his shoulder playfully.

"What you're not going to deny drooling when you look at me?" Katsuki raises his brows at him.

"No because you admitting to the fact that you checked me out is way more important." 

"Tch whatever, you're my mate of course I'm gonna look at you." Katsuki rolls his eyes and, like expected, Deku's cheeks go pink in return. 

Once they both place their orders they wait until their name is called.

"I'll go pay you can wait here," Katsuki starts to head over to the counter.
