UA offers a variety of classes, some during the day for werewolves and some during the night for vampires. Izuku was able to choose his courses, most of which taking place during the day.

He arrived early and said hello to the other people in his class. He decided to sit next to a girl named Uraraka, who seemed quite friendly and easy to talk to.

He did notice Kacchan was in that class as well, although he didn't acknowledge him at all.

The professor introduced himself and said they were going to start with some training exercises. Most of which Izuku didn't use his quirk, and being human, that had him falling behind. It wasn't until the last exercise where he managed to throw the ball farther than even Katsuki had.

Once the class was over, Izuku got changed and started walking out only to be stopped by Katsuki.

"Oi nerd! Were you really lying to me all this time??"

"What??" Izuku asks, confused.

"All this time you had a quirk. You think you're better than me?? Well you're not!"

Infuriated, Katsuki threw a punch at Izuku which he blocked with his arms, but when their skin made contact he felt... explosions?

No, he knew what Kacchan's explosions felt like, they were painful. It happened so fast he couldn't be sure he didn't just imagine it except Katsuki's eyes widened and he took a step back, mouth agape.

"What is it??" Izuku asked, concerned at the sudden shift in his emotions.

Bakugou grabbed Izuku's arm and it happened again. A feeling of electricity, warmth, a spark.

"Fuck. No. This can't-" Katsuki runs his hands through his spiky ash blond hair, looking angry, confused, and upset. "No-"

"Kacchan??" Izuku takes a step forward, and then it dawns on him. He studied supernatural creatures, learnt about their strengths and weaknesses, and mates.

Katsuki just continued to shake his head in disbelief, unsure what else to do he ran out of the room, still trying to process what was going on. Izuku wanted to follow him, but thought better of it since he wasn't sure what he would even say. Was there a way for Kacchan to reject him as a mate? He'd never want someone human as his partner after all, especially not Izuku.

The day was coming to an end and he hadn't seen Katsuki since the incident. Izuku hoped he was okay. He also felt guilty, mates were a huge deal for werewolves and he was sure Katsuki would have been looking forward to finding a strong werewolf mate only to be disappointed.

As he was walking back to his dorm he felt eyes on him. Looking around, he spotted the bi-colour haired boy from earlier. Looking directly at Izuku. He decided he wanted to go and talk to him, although he felt intimidated by the attractive vampire, he really wants to make new friends here. Many people ignored him, not wanting to associate with a human.

"Hi, I'm Izuku Midoriya," Izuku smiles at him. He blinks in surprise, not expecting to be approached by the cheerful green haired boy.

"Midoriya... I'm Shoto Todoroki," he watched Izuku curiously.

"Would you like to have dinner with me?" Izuku offers.

Todoroki raises his eyebrows, looking surprised. "We just met, are you sure??"

Confused, Izuku nods "of course, I was just on my way to the cafeteria now and it would be nice to have some company!"

Todoroki blinks and then shakes his head "oh. Yes, of course."
