Izuku was released from the hospital the next morning. Katsuki had come in to check on him, seeming relieved when he saw Izuku looking mostly healed and full of energy. Since Todoroki had the most contact with Dabi, save for Izuku, he was called in to the police station to give his statement as well. They managed to get Izuku out of it save for answering a few basic questions confirming what he had done previously.

"I'm fine but what about you?? How is everyone else?? Did anyone get hurt? did more villains show up after I left?" Tons of questions swam through Izuku's mind. He slept amazing once he was in Shoto's arms, and knowing Dabi can't hurt him anymore has done a number on lessening his anxiety. Sure he's still a bit paranoid but always having one of his mates by his side has him more at ease.

"Chill with all the questions ya damn nerd! Some got minor injuries, but nothing to be concerned about. Obviously I'm doing amazing as always. Training was actually cancelled again because of yesterday."

"Oh no really? And we go home tomorrow too, what a shame." Izuku sighs.

"I actually had plans on what we could do today but I could see if we can still use the training ground on our own instead, if you'd prefer that," he grumbles.

Izuku turns to look at him, surprised. "Wait you made plans? For us? Aw how thoughtful what kind of plans Kacchan??"

"None of your business!"

"And yet... it kinda is? I've just been walking with you aimlessly, I thought we were heading back to the hotel," he admits.

"Well we're not."

"Okay... Can I guess where we're headed?"

"No."

"Is there going to be anyone else there?"

"No! Damn extras can fuck off,"

"Those extras are your friends Kacchan!" Izuku flicks the back of his head.

"OI watch it!"

"So you're saying it's just the two of us?"

"Yes."

Izuku's smile widens. "Oh my god Kacchan is this a date?? You're bringing me on a date??"

Katsuki is still facing forward as he walks, focused on getting to their destination. "Possibly."

Izuku stops suddenly, and Katsuki turns around questioningly. "What are you doing?"

"I think you forgot something," Izuku crosses his arms.

"I can assure you I didn't, I know exactly what I'm doing."

Izuku scratches his head and furrows his brows. "I just.. Don't remember getting asked on a date by you, Maybe it slipped my mind?"

Katsuki blinks at him slowly, unimpressed. "Really. Come on, you're blocking the side walk."

"I can't say I have anywhere else to be, it's not like I was asked out on a date..."

"Fine, you win." Katsuki sighs and walks up to Izuku, taking his hands in his. Shining emerald eyes meeting his mate's crimson ones. "Deku... Would you like to go on a date with me?"

Taken aback by the sincerity of Katsuki's tone, Izuku can't help but stare in awe for a few moments before responding. Part of him wanted to jokingly say no but he couldn't risk Katsuki taking him seriously and then not wanting to ask him out ever again. If anything the alpha almost looked nervous as if he's expecting Izuku to say no. "Hmmm.... Of course Kacchan!!" He jumps into the blond's arms, holding him tightly. "Thank you so much for asking."
