Emerald eyes take in all the little details of the dorm building, feeling comfort in the warm green painted walls as opposed to the cold greys he had grown accustomed to staring at hours on end. He hides his hands in the long sleeves of Katsuki's hoodie he was given earlier when he shivered. All he had to wear were plain clothes the hospital provided him, and it was much too cold to be walking around in just that especially while his immune system was so susceptible to viruses. Once he got to his dorm room he would be able to change, but he couldn't get there without passing through the common room, which was no doubt filled with his worried classmates.

Him and Katsuki were standing just outside of the door, waiting for Shoto to come back out. He was currently warning everyone of the situation, asking that they give Izuku space and not overwhelm him all at once.

He's been feeling extra jumpy since he first woke up this morning, like all of his senses are on overdrive and he's about to go into battle at any moment, even though nothing is going on.

Izuku takes a nervous breath when Shoto steps out to meet them. "You ready?"

"Not really..." Izuku admits, looking at the floor.

"Don't worry I'll tell all those extras to fuck off if they come too close. You don't even have to acknowledge them just walk straight past."

"Thanks Kacchan... But I can't ignore my friends especially if some of them helped to save me... I can do this." Izuku takes some deep breaths and steps into the room.

Everyone is sitting on or around the couches, instantly turning to stare at him. He shrinks back, thankful for Shoto and Katsuki by his sides, both silently fighting the urge to hold onto him protectively unsure of how he would react. No one moves, all waiting to see how they should proceed.

"...Hi everyone," he starts softly.

Kirishima is the first to break the ice. "Midoriya bro! We're glad you're back, man!"

Following in his lead, more students stand up and start their greetings. "Deku! how're you feeling?" Uraraka starts to rush over to him, only stopping when Katsuki growls a warning.

"Everyone! Remember what Todoroki said, we don't want to overwhelm him. Midoriya, welcome back," Iida nods at him as he shoos away the students.

"R-right, sorry," Uraraka steps back, smiling apologetically.

It's evening and all the first years from the building are in the room, vampires and werewolves, eager to see him. Everyone continues to try an get his attention, to welcome him home and offer any help if he needs it.

"Thanks guys, it means a lot," Izuku appreciates their efforts, although feeling anxious at all the attention and just wanting to be in his own room, in the quiet again. He's starting to feel lightheaded as well, the doctor did warn him that he was still weak and to take it easy for the next couple days. Shoto can tell he's starting to lose his social battery, being an introvert himself who doesn't fare well with large crowds.

"We're going to bring Izuku back to his room now," he announces, starting to walk past everyone. Katsuki catches on and starts pushing through the people that are standing in front of them.

"Move your annoying asses out of the way!" Normally Izuku would feel bad and tell him to be nicer, but he just wants out so in the moment he is thankful for Katsuki's abrasiveness.

Once they are out of the room into the hallway, Izuku lets out a breath and leans against the wall for a moment, trying to stop himself from fainting.

"Izuku-" Shoto grabs onto his arm automatically, to offer support to the now pale sweating male.
