Shoto is gripping the steering wheel of his car so tightly he's surprised he hasn't broken it yet. He is currently parked outside of his childhood home, attempting to brace himself for meeting his father.

When he made the phone call to ask for the museum key, his father said he'd get it for him as long as he came over for dinner. Which, for Izuku and Katsuki, he agreed to.

He could just not go. The key for the museum was already used. However, as much as he loathes his father, he can't go back on his word. So here he is.

Knowing the later he arrives will only result in a lecture, he gets out of the car. Part of him wanted to bring Izuku, he knew he would calm his nerves just by being there, but he didn't want him meeting his father like this. Or at all. Who knows what his father could say or do to his precious soulmate?

He takes one last breath and knocks, Endeavor opening the door immediately. "Shoto! It's about time,"

"Hello." Shoto walks inside, passing him.

"I invited Fuyumi too, I knew you would probably appreciate that as opposed to having the meal just the two of us. Plus I can't beat her amazing cooking!"

"Great," Shoto says blandly, thankful that at least he isn't going to have to endure an hour trapped in a room with his father alone.

"Hey Shoto!" his sister jumps up from her seat to give him a greeting hug. He's seen her more recently than his father, them and Natsuo often meet up at their mother's room in the mental hospital; they usually try to do so at least twice a month so she isn't as lonely and gets to hear about what's going on in their lives.

"Hey Fuyumi," he greets her politely.

They sit down as the food is already prepared, and Shoto starts eating. His dad is speaking about some hero business, but he does his best to ignore him, only glancing up occasionally if Fuyumi speaks.

Trying to tune out the discomfort, he thinks back to how Katsuki said he would owe him a favour if he got the key. He owes him big time considering he now has to endure a whole painful hour of this all because of his idea.

Shoto starts to imagine potential things he could have Katsuki do. He could make him take him out on a date like the one he took Izuku on. Although the two aren't dating he would like to spend more time with Katsuki, since he never seems to want to hang out with Shoto if Izuku isn't there too. Plus if he has enough motivation he can make quite the romantic date.

Hmmm what other things would force Katsuki to spend time with him?

He could make him clean his entire dorm. Shoto's dorm is always clean, so he would have to make it really messy first. Then he would be able to sit and watch him clean and reorganize everything.

He could even make him wear a maid outfit while cleaning, that would definitely be entertaining. He could have his ears out too, he would look so cute. And angry.

Maybe he could have him wash his car, in a playboy bunny outfit perhaps. Or a corset. Or something funny like a blow up dinosaur costume.

Or he could make him wear a dog collar and leash, and walk around campus like that. It would definitely be satisfying, holding the leash to an alpha werewolf, being in control of everywhere he goes... Shoto fights off an amused grin thinking about how Katsuki would react to such suggestions.

Oh the possibilities are endless...

His thoughts are rudely interrupted by his annoying father. "SHOTO!"

He sighs. "What."

"Were you even listening?!"

"Oh. Nope."

Endeavor rubs his temple with his fingers, trying to stay calm. "I was SAYING, I have a date for you."

Shoto drops his chopsticks and stares at him. Is his father seriously trying to set him up with someone?!

Endeavor smirks, glad he's finally got his sons attention. "I've been talking with the Yayorozu family. We believe it would be of good interest to both families if you were to marry their daughter, Momo. She goes to your school, yes?"

Although he vaguely notes who his father is talking about, he's hardly talked to her and is quite content with his current relationship. "What about our soulmates?"

"Soulmates are meaningless, you might not even find yours and she might not be a good fit for you. Yayorozu is a strong vampire with a good quirk, what more could you want?"

Shoto clenches his fists. She, she, she, why don't you shut up already?

"Actually I have found my soulmate. We're dating." He sits up, confidently.

"Oh really now? Is she a powerful vampire with a strong quirk?"

Shoto has never shown an interest in girls. Yet never in a million years would it cross his fathers mind that he was interested in anything else. He's hooked up with boys before, even brought them home to stay the night thinking it would piss his old man off. Yet Endeavor seemed absolutely oblivious, almost as if his mind tried to block out anything that it thought made his son less than perfect.

"He." Shoto corrects sternly.

"What?"

"There's no she, father. My soulmate is a boy." Technically he has two soulmates, but Katsuki isn't ready for that conversation yet and he has no reason to bring that part up to his father right now anyway.

"Oh. Well then there go my future grandchildren. Honestly Shoto, the lengths you go to try and get on my nerves." Endeavour scoffs. "Although... I've heard there's quirks that can give homosexuals biological kin. I may allow it. He is a powerful vampire, right?"

"It shouldn't matter!" Shoto snaps. "I'm staying with him no matter what you say."

"So he's weak! I really don't approve of this then Shoto. He's a vampire though, at least?"

"He's human. Not that it matters but he's got an amazing quirk and is very strong."

"Well that's better than a werewolf. When are you going to turn him? Me and your mother were together for a month before I did the ritual on her. If he's really got a good quirk he will make a fine vampire-"

Shoto stands up, slamming his hands on the table. "He's staying human. And don't you dare talk about my mother." He hisses.

"You won't be seen as a powerful number one hero if your soulmate is a mere human, Shoto! If he doesn't seem into it at first, just keep asking! Make him feel guilty for saying no, and eventually he will cave, trust me. Or better yet, save the trouble and marry Momo instead!"

Shoto tries his best to control the anger raging inside of him at those words. "No, I'm not a manipulative monster like you are! And I won't marry Momo because I'm in love with my human boyfriend Izuku. End of discussion."

"I strongly disapprove of this, Shoto. Sit back down and stop speaking nonsense right now!" Endeavor commands.

"Respectfully, Father, I don't give a fuck if you approve as I am an adult and it's none of your business who I have personal relations with. Thank you for the meal Fuyumi the food was great, if only it wasn't ruined by our pathetic excuse of a dad." With that Shoto is out the door, in his car, and speeding far away from there.

Heyo! I actually wrote a rough draft of part of this scene back in like July when I was still writing the beginning chapters of this story. It was me self projecting cuz I haven't told my parents I'm bi so whenever they talk about my future partner they always say 'he' and I'm like haha or not! They aren't homophobic I just hate the idea of having to announce anything. So that's why I made Endeavor using 'she' and then Todoroki being annoyed at that lol. just a fun fact!

ANYWHO enough of that personal rant, if you were Todoroki what would you make Bakugou do as his favour? Just curious lol but if a lot of u agree on one I might use it >:)

Have a great day/nightt
