Katsuki is currently staring at the wall, sitting in an uncomfortable hospital chair, with a red and white haired vampire asleep on his shoulder. Next to them is a hospital bed with their mate, unconscious, with various IVs attached to him.

Katsuki looks back at Deku, pale but a lot better after they transferred more blood into his system. His breathing is normal, being able to see that helped Katsuki relax too. The doctor said he should wake up within the next couple days.

The sun is rising, which means it's been several hours since they arrived at the hospital with Deku. Katsuki admits he could have handled the situation a bit more calmly, seeing as he yelled quite a few profuse words at the poor medical staff, but in his defence they were taking too damn long to get his Deku into a room and taken care of.

But once they took him, and assured Katsuki and Todoroki he would be okay, he finally calmed down a bit. He also yelled at Icyhot to fucking take care of himself because the idiot was moments away from passing out himself. Luckily the hospital does carry the artificial blood for vampires, so he made sure Todoroki drank it before then falling asleep, still in the hospital room since neither of them wanted to leave Deku.

Katsuki debated pushing Todoroki away from him but decided against it, although it hurts to think about he is basically Deku's boyfriend and he wants him to recover quickly, for Deku's sake of course.

Taking one last look at Deku and his normal heart rate and breathing, acknowledging he's okay and they're in a hospital, no one is going to come and get him, he finally drifts off to sleep too.

Shoto wakes up, already healed and energized. Vampires heal faster than humans, although it can be draining and they can become blood deprived.

Suddenly remembering Midoriya, he shoots up and looks over at the hospital bed. After doing a quick body scan he concludes he is still unconscious but he seems healthier than before. His relief is short lived as he was also quick to notice Bakugou, sitting next to Midoriya, holding onto his hand.

"What do you think you're doing?"

Bakugou jumps away. "None of your damn business."

"I appreciate you bringing Midoriya here, but you have no reason to stay." Shoto crosses his arms. He can't help but think back to the things Midoriya told him about Bakugou, and knows he doesn't want the werewolf around him.

"Neither do you." Bakugou shoots back.

"I'm his soulmate and we are very close. He would want me here. And I want to be here. You already made it clear you want nothing to do with him so what's your problem?" 

"Wait- is that what you've been telling him? That you're soulmates? That's impossible. Don't lie to the nerd he's too gullible for that shit."

"I would never lie to Midoriya. It seems he has two mates. Lucky for him since one of them rejected him."

Bakugou's angry demeanour fades, and his shoulders slump. "I didn't mean it."

Shoto is taken aback at first, he was expecting to get another snarky response. Then he remembers Midoriya crying on his shoulder after what Bakugou did and glares at him again. "You didn't mean it? You had him spend the night with you in your room and then threw him out like trash in the morning. And it's not like that's the first time you've done something fucked up, according to him he was bullied for years by you. He deserves better than that."

"You're right."

"What?" Shoto blinks. The Katsuki Bakugou, admitting he's flawed?

"You're right. I'm a shitty person. He deserves better." Bakugou looks back at Midoriya.

"I'm glad we're on the same page then."

"So I'm going to become better. I don't expect Deku to forgive me right away. I sure as hell wouldn't if I were him. But I'm not going to run away from my problems like a coward anymore. I'm going to fix them"

Shoto studies him. He does seem sincere in his proclamations, maybe Bakugou really does want to change. It's not Shoto's place to get in the way of that, but he doesn't trust people that easily either. "Whatever you say. If you hurt Midoriya again I'll murder you."

"Tch. Like you did with Dabi?"

"Ah yes I can feel you're becoming a better person by the second."

"Shut the fuck up."

"Will do."
