Izuku wakes up groggily to the sound of a heart monitor and notices he's in a hospital bed.

Damn, did I break my bones again?

He tries moving his fingers then his arms, his wrists hurt but nothing is broken. He also tries his legs. Nope. What's going on then?

It's fairly dark in the room and he spots a figure in w chair not far from him. Is that... Kacchan? What's he doing here? Should Izuku wake him up and ask? No, it would probably just make him angry.

Izuku starts feeling tired again and drifts back into sleep.

"It's been three days aren't you tired of sitting in that chair all day?"

"Stop trying to get rid of me icy hot you've been doing the same thing!"

That's Todoroki's voice... and Kacchan's?

"At least I have the common sense to leave and get myself sustenance, and you some too since you aren't eating otherwise."

"I'm not your fucking kid I didn't ask you to get me food."

"You're welcome."

Izuku blinks his eyes open, it's a bit lighter now, the sun is just rising. It must be early morning.

He turns his head- which causes a flash of pain in his neck, and spots them. Katsuki is inspecting the insides of a fast food bag while Todoroki looks like he's going to fall asleep. Both don't look too good, their hair is a mess and they look exhausted.

"Uh hey..." Izuku's voice is raspy, and he realizes how dry his throat is.

Both boys' heads shoot up immediately. "Midoriya? Are you okay?" Todoroki runs to his side and takes his face in his hands, inspecting him.

"Yeah I think so... what about you two? You're a mess," Izuku comments before noticing the bandages on his wrists.

"Tch, look in a mirror," Katsuki shoots back, but he doesn't actually sound angry.

"What happened? What am I doing here?" Izuku questions. Todoroki and Katsuki exchange a look.

"You don't remember?" Todoroki questions.

Izuku tries to think back. "Well... we were going to watch a movie.... then Todoroki went to get me popcorn... it's sorta fuzzy after that.. why can't I..."

"It's okay take your time," Todoroki places a comforting hand on his. It was a small gesture but it made him feel more at ease.

"Don't force him to remember idiot, I'm sure he will on his own time." Izuku's attention is brought back to Katsuki.

"Kacchan? What are you doing here?"

"What does it look like I've been doing? Waiting for you to wake up. Took ya long enough."

"Okay..." Izuku trails off, maybe him being here would make more sense if only he could remember how he got here in the first place.

"I should tell the nurse you're awake, and call your mom since she's been coming in every day to check on you too. I'll be back soon." Todoroki gives Izuku's hand a squeeze before leaving, Izuku now alone with Katsuki.

He starts examining his fingers, unsure if he should spike a conversation or not.

"I'm sorry."
