Stepping inside the room, Izuku is met with the delicious smell of popcorn and a patient Shoto standing right by the door, as if he knew Izuku was about to walk inside.

"Hi Sho!" he throws himself into the taller male's arms, noting the familiar cool peppermint scent of his hair. 

"Hi Midoriya, how did your day with Bakugou go?"

"Oh it was so fun! We got to see the All Might exhibit at the museum, I wrote lots of notes I can show you later. He also made such a romantic dinner, can you believe it? Kacchan of all people, doing something so soft and thoughtful like that," Izuku rambles on, making animated expressions explaining all the things he saw while Shoto listens intently.

"That does sound surprising, just goes to show how much he cares for you that he went out of his comfort zone just to give you the date you wanted,"

"He also mentioned you going out of your comfort zone... the date wouldn't have been possible if you didn't get him that key,"

Shoto blinks. "He told you that? I thought it was supposed to be a secret. But yes, I asked my father for that key. Being a high ranking pro hero does have it's perks," he says that last part bitterly, and Deku doesn't want to keep the topic on Endeavor for long.

"So... Why didn't you take me on the date yourself?" He can't help but ask.

"Well it was his idea to ask for the key. He suggested we all go together but I knew he was hoping to spend time with just you so I said he could take you himself," he explains.

"Aw well thank you for that, I appreciate it and I'm sure Kacchan did too." Deku smiles kindly at him. "Now what's that smell? It's yummy,"

Izuku wonders past Shoto into the room, and his eyes light up when he sees various popcorn and snacks next to their hotel bed that's got pillows propped up.

"I was thinking we could watch that movie together? The one we were going to watch back in the dorms..."

"Oh yes, Frozen! I had almost forgotten about that," Izuku giggles at the memory, he can't wait to see Shoto's reaction to the film. "Let me just get into my night clothes, I'll be right back!"

Izuku grabs his pyjama shirt and shorts and darts into the bathroom. When he returns Shoto is already sitting on the bed with the movie ready to hit play.

Izuku dives onto the bed before crawling under the covers right next to his boyfriend and grabbing a bag of popcorn, Shoto putting his arm around him pulling him closer.

"So? Thoughts?" Izuku turns to Shoto as soon as the end credits begin to roll.

"Fascinating. This is an old film, isn't it? She was the only one with a quirk,"
