Izuku makes his way back into their hotel room followed by Katsuki and Todoroki, exhausted by all the training from earlier today. It was a very productive day though, they got to exercise their quirks and the trainers offered some good advice as well as good challenges to overcome.

There is still something on his mind though, from breakfast this morning. He isn't sure how to bring it up, but he wants to talk to Todoroki about it.

"Hey Kacchan can you step out for a bit? I want to talk with Todoroki alone,"

"No, icy hot is the one who wanted us to all share a room so he's going to need to deal with the consequences of having me stuck in the same room as him." he shrugs and plops onto the bed, grabbing the remote for the TV.

"What's wrong Midoriya?" Todoroki questions.

"Alright fine,  let's go into the doorway here." Izuku drags him over to the entrance of the room.

"I can still hear you two!"

"STOP LISTENING THEN!" he snaps. Damn I'm hanging out with Kacchan too much. He turns to Todoroki. "Anyways, it's about something you said earlier,"

"What did I say?" Todoroki watches Izuku, confused.

"At breakfast you mentioned how I was your friend..." Izuku starts.

"Yes," he confirms.

"You really think of me as your friend?"

"Yes."

"We're just friends..." Izuku hints.

"Yes... Midoriya are you saying you don't want to be friends?" Todoroki looks puzzled.

"Yes-" he sees Todoroki's eyes widen and panics. "Wait no-no thats not it I do want to be your friend! But I just sort of thought we were more than friends-"

"You are my best friend too Midoriya, don't worry." Todoroki assures him, oblivious.

Izuku's cheeks heat up a bit. "Well- that's not exactly what I meant-"

"Ha, this is painful to listen to," Katsuki pipes in.

"Kacchan please- Okay. Todoroki do you remember a while ago, you literally said you liked me, and I said I liked you too, right?"

"Right."

"And we kissed,".

"I do remember,"

"And now you're saying we're friends?"

"Best friends," he corrects.

"Todoroki- I thought you were my boyfriend! We literally confessed our feelings- and you're still calling us friends- why don't you want to admit we're dating?? Do you not want to go out with me? Did you regret the kiss?? What is it because I don't understand??" Izuku rambles. Granted, they hadn't gone on many dates or anything but he felt so close to Todoroki and Izuku is his soulmate, typically when two people find out they are mates they start dating right away.

He blinks, finally understanding. "I can be your boyfriend?"

"Yes of course," relieved at his response, Izuku steps closer and grabs Todoroki's hands. "I thought we were already dating,"

"If you want us to be dating then we are, I'll do whatever you feel comfortable with Midoriya," Todoroki leans in and kisses Izuku softly, who closes his eyes. "I'm sorry I didn't realize this was something you wanted earlier."

"Oi hold up I have a question!"

Izuku steps away and Todoroki glares over at Katsuki's direction. "Maybe we should have gotten separate rooms after all," he mutters.
