"Congratulations to the graduating SOLDIERS advancing to 2nd class. May you advance once more into 1st class. I wish you all the best of luck, and I have a feeling I'll be seeing more of you in the upcoming weeks to come." The silver haired general said. This was it. You went from being an ordinary band geek and captain of a debate team in school, to a SOLDIER graduating to a 2nd class, just like Zach Fair. No one ever thought a girl could do such a thing, but boy, did you prove them wrong. You weren't afraid of a challenge, no matter how treacherous it was. And now that you were a 2nd class SOLDIER, nothing can stop you. And before long, you're taking a tour of the base, introducing yourself to many new faces. However, you aspired to be a 1st class soldier, just like Angeal and Genesis.
"I'm going to be a 1st class soldier, just like them." You said with the up most confidence. One of the other SOLDIERS snickered at your comment.
"All you'll ever be good for is a fan girl. You'll be lucky to even impress the general himself. But he's not one to impress so easily." He laughed at you before walking away to join the tour group. You huffed. That same guy was part of the reason why you never gave up. So, after the tour ended, you and the other graduates were allowed to explore and even train together. You? You decided to find the three 1st class SOLDIERS and challenge them.
"What am I doing? I don't stand a chance against the three of them." You stood in front of the one way window, watching the men battle each other, the silver haired one either dodging their attacks or clashing with the weapons they held. You took a deep breath, and opened the door to the room, and just in time for the battle simulation to end. You waited for the three to settle to speak up:
"I bet I can beat the three of you easily." The red haired one Genesis looked at the other two, then at you.
"You? Beat us? Come now girly, there's no way you can do that. Now why don't you just go home and write in your little pink diary?" He mocked you, but was suddenly thumped upside the head by the raven haired man.
"Genesis! It certainly is a shock that a girl such as yourself thinks she can beat us in a 1 v 1 match. But really, I think you should go home while you still can." You heard a tssk coming from the general himself.
"You think you can take us on, little girl? Fine. Wanna bet? If you can beat us with ease, then we won't underestimate you anymore. However, if I win, then you have to do whatever I say. Does that sound good to you?" Sephiroth smirked. You knew you had to win this, and give it your all. This is what you trained for.
"You're on! And none of you better go easy on me!" Sephiroth chuckled at your enthusiasm.
"Don't worry. We won't. Now, since you're a lady, I'll let you choose who you want to fight first." You swung your finger side to side, as if deciding who to pick, and you pointed at Genesis.
"Are you sure you want to take me on?" He asked as Angeal put up a battlefield, a forest like environment.
"You know, you're all bark, and no bite. Why don't you just shut up and fight me?!" You fought Genesis and finally defeated him, then Angeal. Sephiroth was eyeing you the whole time, and you seemed to amaze him.
"I am impressed by your skills and strength. However, I will not be satisfied until you beat me. Are you ready little thing?" Sephiroth got into his fighting stance, his long sword(just one of his long swords ;)) angling towards the ground.
"Oh please. Call me Y/n." You unsheathed your sword, telling yourself this was gonna be a piece of cake.
"Very well, Y/n. Let's see what you've got." He torpedoed himself at you, and clashed weapons with you.
"I won't let you win!" You kicked his body backwards and lunged at him.
"My my, such enthusiasm. It's too bad though. I was gonna ask you out, but I guess I won't now." The General's words caught you off guard, and before you could have time to react, he pins you to the ground and asks if you're ready to give up. All you could do was stare into his cat like eyes and the moment distracted you. You shook off the feeling in your heart and focused on the battle.
"No! Never! I will defeat you Sephiroth!" You took a hold of his arm and flipped him off of you, allowing you to hop up on your feet again.
"Bold one, aren't we?" Sephiroth smirked and wiped the dirt from his clothes.
"You could say that." You once again clashed swords, and it repeated for what felt like forever. Angeal, despite being on Sephiroth's side, cheered you on, and Genesis paid no mind to the fight taking place before him, reading his book as usual. Why am I feeling this way about this man?! I'm just a 2nd class SOLDIER, and nothing more than that! I'll never be his!, you thought to yourself as the fight continued. The forest around you seemed to glitch, but none of you took notice of this, the only thing intriguing is the fight.
"Why won't you go down?!" You cried, out of breath from constantly clashing with him. Sephiroth chuckled a little, amused by how angry it got you.
"What's wrong my dear? Can't admit defeat? Surrender now before a pretty girl like you gets hurt." You growled, clutching your sword tightly.
"I'M SICK OF EVERYONE THINKING I CAN'T FIGHT, JUST BECAUSE I'M A GIRL!!" When you tried to go at him once more, Sephiroth dodged your upcoming attack, took your sword from you, and kicked you down. The forest around the two of you disappeared, the end of the simulation. You were on all fours, cursing your boldness. You suddenly felt the tip of your sword being placed on your throat. You looked up to see Sephiroth handing it back to you. You took it back, and flung it away from you. Your father had made it just for you before you were sent off to boot camp.
"A real SOLDIER doesn't sulk. Get up and look at me." He demanded, and when you did, he spoke again.
"Your boldness gets in the way of what's important to you. Next time, you could get hurt, or worse because you chose to be that way." You rubbed your arm nervously. You were embarrassed, mainly because you weren't able to beat Sephiroth.
"Yeah yeah..... Anyway, you won, so what do you want?" You stared at the floor, your hair in your face to hide your crimson colored face.
"You." Oh okay, because what?! You?! Out of all people?!! Sensing your reaction, Sephiroth laughed.
"I meant it when I said I was gonna ask you out. You have shown me so much, and I barely know you, which is why I want you to be mine. You don't have to give me a direct answer, but just know this: your beauty and stubborn mind have truly made me fallen head over heels. You are both the thorn and the rose." You blushed. No one has said anything so romantic before in your life. You were so spaced out, you didn't see the trio walking out of the training room.
"Sephiroth wait!!" The moment he turned around, you ran and jumped into his arms.
"I'll be yours, but on one condition..." He raised his brow.
"Anything for you." You wrapped your arms around his neck, and kissed his supple lips.
"I'll be yours, but I also want you as my mentor. I aspire to be a 1st class SOLDIER some day, and the only way that's gonna happen is through a mentor." He smiled and held on to you.
"Deal my love."
Oh my god, I write the best endings!!! That took me FOREVER to write, but I really hope you like it, and please let me know if there's another request you'd like me to do! I want to keep this book going!!
