Hey Genesis! Still reading that book I see!" You greeted your mentor and close friend in the training room. Genesis hummed in response, his eyes scanning the words upon the pages of his book Loveless. Only him. Genesis Rhapsados was a well known 1st class SOLDIER, along with Angeal, Zack Fair's mentor, and of course, the great general Sephiroth him self. Though you were only 2nd class, Genesis treated you like a 1st.

"Have you been practicing like I've asked?" He finally closed his book and stood up. Ever since day one, he's been tasking you with different exercises to get stronger. He even spent months making you a sword, for which he called, you guessed it, Loveless.

"I sure have! When am I going to get to fight the three of you?" You were very determined to test your skills on the three 1st class men. Genesis laughed.

"Slow down little one! I love your attitude, but ease up will you? It's one thing if you want to fight me and Angeal, but Sephiroth will not hold back." You puffed your cheeks in utter disappointment, pouting.

"Haha fine! You want to test your skills? Alright. Let's start with me." Genesis picked up his weapon and put up a simulated battlefield, a rocky terrain.

"Let's do this! Don't go easy on me Genesis!" You pointed the tip of your sword his way.

"I won't Y/n!" He charged at you, clashing with you over and over again. The two of you went at it, doing flips, kicks, and dodge galore. Before you were about to land a big blow, a voice interrupts the battle, the terrain fading away. You and Genesis looked over to see Tseng, the leader of the Turks. Genesis hid you behind him, in case Tseng were to try something.

"What do you want?" His voice sounded cold. Tseng sighed and stretched out his arm.

"Vice President Rufus Shinra has requested the girl's presence immediately." What? You poked your head out and shyly looked up at the Turk.

"You can't just waltz in here, and take whoever you want just because that brat Rufus orders you to. Now leave before I kill you with my bare hands." Genesis demanded.

"I'm just doing my job sir. I swear I won't let anything happen to the girl." You walked in front of Genesis, and he sighs.

"Fine. Just be careful." You gave Genesis one last hug before you left with Tseng, just in case you were never going to see your mentor again.

"So, what does he want with me?" You fiddled your thumbs nervously, sitting across from the Turk on the helicopter.

"I don't know. He just sent me to fetch you. When we get there, you will bow and address him as Mr. Shinra, and you must say yes to whatever he wishes. Is that clear?" You nod slowly and stare into space until Tseng instructs the bald headed man flying it to land. When the helicopter landed safely, Tseng helped you down and led you inside the building.

"How does he know who I am?" You asked. You didn't do anything wrong, so why were you being summoned?

"I can't say for certain. But rest assured, you are not in any trouble at all, so all fears aside." Tseng stopped at a huge door and knocked three times, and opened it slowly. You saw a blond haired man in a white suit typing on his computer. God, was he handsome! You couldn't take your eyes off of him! When he looked up at you and Tseng, you noticed his eyes were like the ocean.

"Vice President Rufus Shinra? I have returned, and brought the girl like you asked." You stayed behind him, following like a lost puppy(btw, I've been wanting a puppy for so long😭).
